2019…what a year! There were highs, there were lows and I feel like I blogged about most of the important parts of it. I turned 36. I traveled with friends. I saw a few new shows. I finally found a workout that I LOVE. I reconnected with an old friend. Looking back, it was a pretty great year.
And now, here is a little recap of some of my favorite things/moments from 2019…
January– I saw Waitress at the Orpheum in Memphis and it was exactly what I needed. I laughed until I cried so many times during that musical. I also got real about my Perioral Dermatitis and shared an update that has been one of the most popular posts in my blog to date. I still get emails weekly about this post.
February– In February I celebrated my 36th birthday, talked about my double cleansing routine, the importance of blue shampoo vs. purple shampoo, and shared all of my favorite chick lit authors! I also took my first Orange Theory class at the end of February!!!!
March– I feel like March was all about skincare and I’m not mad about it…I blogged about my favorite Amazon skincare products and my favorite drugstore skincare and both posts are some my most pinned posts! I also saw Fiddler on the Roof at the Orpheum in Memphis!
April– This is where my blog slump started and I’m ok with that, I was living my best life and didn’t have time to blog and that’s OK! Everyone needs a break.
May– I went to DISNEY WORLD for the first time and I LOVED it! I already can’t wait to go back!!!
June– In June I took two of my sweet nieces to Memphis for the day and we went to the Memphis Zoo and rode the elevator to the top of the Bass Pro Pyramid!! I also went back to Memphis and saw Anastasia at the Orpheum!
July– In July I went to Dallas with my bloggy besties and we had a great weekend! I also saw HAMILTON at the Orpheum in Memphis!
August– In August I went to St. Louis with my friend Kassie and we did it all! We went up in the Arch, watched the Cardinals beat the Cubs and went to the St. Louis Zoo. We had is much fun!!
September– I took another blog break but I did complete 75 classes at Orange Theory AND I competed in my first ever Orange Theory DriTri!! I finished in under an hour and wasn’t the last one finished in my group. Those were my only two goals and I did it!!!
October– Still on my blogging break but I completed Orange Theory’s Hell Week and had a blast doing it!!
November– In November I started playing catch up on my blog posts and posted a lot of book posts (my faves!!) and I saw The Book Of Mormon at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis!
December– I only posted once in December but it was a good one…I went to see the Holiday Lights at Garvan Gardens in Host Springs with my friend Elizabeth and it was GORGEOUS!!
Like I mentioned a few posts ago, 2020 has been pretty rough so far but I have high hopes for the rest of the year! Cheers to a better 2020!!
