A couple of weekends ago I met two of my besties in Dallas for a girls weekend and we had a BLAST!!! We haven’t all been in the same place at the same time in almost TWO YEARS. That’s two years too long if you ask me! The last time we were all together was when Jenn lived in Nashville and Rebekah and I drove over for a weekend to stay with her.
Since then Jenn has moved back home to Georgia and the last time we all planned to get together there was a snow storm in Chicago and we had to cancel that trip. Booooo on you Chicago!
Anyway, back to this trip…Rebekah and I drove down from central Arkansas ans picked up Jenn from the airport and immediately went to grab a bite at In-N-Out. I am obsessed with their Animal Style burgers and fries and let me tell you, it was just as delicious as I remembered it to be.
Our next stop was to Onyx Nail Bar where we treated ourselves to pedicures, shoulder and neck massages and dranks! If you are in Dallas and are looking for a nail salon with a full bar look no further than Onyx. It was an amazing experience.
After that we did a little shopping, got checked in to our hotel and then grabbed dinner. After dinner we hit up The Dough Dough, which is an edible cookie dough bar and it was AMAZING!!
The next morning we got up and went to the Hilton Anatole in downtown Dallas to spend our day at Jadewaters, their water park and it was so much fun! I think we underestimated the amount of people that were going to be there on a Saturday so if you go I highly suggest getting there when they open (9am) to get a good chair by the pool.
After getting all of the sun we could handle we headed back to our hotel again to rest and get ready for dinner. We went to the Cheesecake Factory (my FAVE chain restaurant of all time) and then did a little Dallas sight seeing.
First we went to see The Eye at The Joule. It is literally a huge eyeball in a green space by The Joule Hotel and honestly, it’s just really cool to look at, LOL!!
After seeing The Eye we headed over to Reunion Tower. We planned on getting there at sunset so we could see some great views and it did NOT disappoint.
After all that sight seeing we were worn out so back to our hotel we went.
Sunday morning we woke up early and went to Drybar to get blowouts! I don’t know about you but I LOVE a good blowout and Drybar is seriously the BEST!!! We got there a smidge early so we grabbed coffee at Merit Coffee which was next door to the Highland Park Drybar and it was delish!
After we got all pretty, we headed over to The Rustic for their Jam and Toast Brunch. If you ware looking for a yummy brunch in Dallas I highly recommend The Rustic. Everything is served family style at your table and their mimosas are the BEST!!
I didn’t get any pic of the food because I was way too hungry to take any before pics when it was pretty…LOL! Oh well, #BloggerFail
After brunch we headed over to Plano in search of Kelsey Montague’s butterfly wings mural and we found it! Funny story, when Jenn lived in Nashville she lived next to the butterfly wing mural in The Gulch. We took pics in front of it when we visited her so it was only appropriate that we took pics with this one too!
The mural is located in The Shops At Legacy next to Francesca’s if you want to go find it yourself!
And that, my friends, is a recap of my Dallas Girls Trip with my girls Jenn and Rebekah. It was a much needed get out of town trip and it’s always amazing spending time with my girls in person!!
I can’t wait for the next time I see them!!!
