Every once in a while I like to do a little “about me” post. If you read this blog regularly then I think you get a pretty good sense of who I am but sometimes my interests change or I get a new influx of readers and I just feel the need to rattle off random facts about myself. HA!
In case you didn’t know my name is Ricci, pronounced like Ricky, and my middle name is Alexis…hence my blog name. I have actually been through a few different blog names before settling on this one but I figure you can’t ever go wrong with your name, right?
Alright, on to the random lis tot things about myself…
ONE. I have an almost five year old malt-poo named Sophie. She thinks her name is Boo and runs the show at my house. I used to blog about her a lot but then she started hating the camera so I can’t ver get a good pic of her anymore!! GAH!
TWO. I am obsessed with anything black and white and my obsession actually made it’s way into a blog post all of it’s own…HA! This also reminds me that I need to take pics of my master bathroom because I finally got my super fun black and white striped curtain put up!! And I also need to take pics of my finally completed black and white home office. It’s pretty adorable if I do say so myself!
THREE. I am also obsessed with the Royal Family. I guess because I’m American and we don’t have anything like that?? I used to have the biggest crush on Prince William, which has been recently transferred to Prince Harry (OMG he is so HOT!!!), and now I have a lady crush on Kate. Could she be any prettier? I want her hair. And her wardrobe. And to be called Princess. I also love to read anything I can about Prince George and Princess Charlotte. GAH, they are soooooo cute!!
FOUR. I work as a respiratory therapist and go to school full time so I stay pretty busy. I am majoring in E-Commerce this time around and will graduate with bachelor’s degree number two in May if everything goes like it should.
FIVE. I love love love to go to the movies solo. There is absolutely nothing better than getting all dolled up and then hitting yup the theater with a big ole tub of popcorn!! I love going after the movie has been in theaters for a bit so I can get the theater to myself. I always imagine that I’m someone really famous and I am at my own private showing of the movie. LOL!
SIX. I love to travel!! So far this year I have been to Dallas, Memphis, and Las Vegas. This past summer I went to Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, NYC, Salem, and Boston. It was a huge road trip and we got to see and do all kinds of cool stuff like tour the White House!! I think I need a beach trip next!! Or maybe Europe?? I have no idea…I just want to go!!
SEVEN. I have worn the same perfume for the past seven years. I became a Viva la Juicy fan when I went to NYC for the first time back in 2009. I got a huge bottle because I liked it and thought it would be a fun memento of the trip and have been wearing it ever since. It’s now my “signature scent” and I always get asked about it or told how good I smell!! These days I alternate between the original and the Viva la Juicy Gold. I really want the Viva la Juicy Rosé next!!
EIGHT. My past jobs include being a waitress at Pizza Inn, a lifeguard and camp counselor at a summer camp for girls in West Texas, working at Victoria’s Secret, cashier at Bed Bath and Beyond, and now a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Blogger!
NINE. My favorite neutral is leopard. You can pair anything with leopard these days!! I recently grabbed these Sam Edelman Gigi Sandals in leopard and I am obsessed with them!! They are super comfy and if you decided to get them, size up a half size!!
TEN. I’m pretty OCD and like to do things in order, therefore I love binge watching shows on Netflx because I can watch a season all at once and don’t have to wait!! This weekend was the much buzzed about Fuller House and I managed to watch all 13 episodes!!! I can honestly say that is a must-watch and I really hope they renew for a season two!!

I hear ya on the beach trip. I live by the beach on Cape Cod, but we only get about 3 months of the year to use it. That’s SO not enough!

I love to travel too! Our family has been all over the country and parts of the world. It is SO much fun to see other countries and how they differ from ours.
Traveling is the best. Our family loves to travel. It’s a great way to see new things and make lasting memories.
I went to DC this year too! It was so fun!!
I’m totally excited to watch Fuller House, btw. Haven’t had time this weekend but want to dive in ASAP!

We just finished the last Episode of Fuller House tonight. At first, we didn’t think it was going to be very good. But after a few episodes in, we enjoyed it.

I have a bottle of Viva la Juicy too! I love the smell! The few times I’ve been to the movies alone was pretty awesome lol I can see why you would love it. As for the Fuller House, LOVE IT!! Didn’t get to finish it all but might this weekend.
