Road Trip Recap is back!! I left off Monday with leaving Philadelphia. We got on the road pretty early and arrived at our destination, Atlantic City NJ, around lunch time.
We did a little shopping first because we got there too early to check in to our hotel. Atlantic City has a fabulous outlet mall and I spent way too much money! HA!
We finally got around to checking in to our hotel and had 12 bags!! #shopaholics We stayed at the Chelsea on the boardwalk and it was gorgeous!!
That night we decided to walk the boardwalk. Our hotel was literally at one end and the Steel Pier at the other and we walked the whole thing and back. It was sooooo much fun. And tiring. Very tiring. Pretty sure my feet hated me the next day…LOL!!
Here are some of my favorite sites from the boardwalk…
…Miss America!!!
…stopped to get cupcakes.
…ate oysters and my first ever lobster roll!!
…people watch.
…checking out the Steel Pier from the boardwalk!!
…walking all the way down the Steel Pier!!
…and finally the view from the Steel Pier to the boardwalk.
When we got back to our hotel that night we found that our ac had stopped working and so we got a new room!! Woohoo!! You just can’t do the beach in a hot room.
The next day we got up early and headed to the beach!!
We stayed out all day and may or may not have fallen asleep and gotten burned. HAHAHA!!
That night we went shopping again and then ate at Margaritaville!! YUM!!
After winning a few dollars at the Margaritaville casino we headed back to our hotel and called it a night. The next morning we got up and headed to one of my favorite cities on this planet…
Have you been to Atlantic City??
What was your favorite sight to see??
You have visited so many places! Love your pics and thanks for sharing your experiences. I have not been to Atlantic City yet. I will keep in mind all your “must-see” suggestions.
I’ve never been to AC, but I would love to make it there one day. It looks and sounds like so much fun!
I love Atlantic City!! I don’t go to the casinos because I don’t know how to play but there’s a lotttt to do there! Yes, it might be tiring but it’s still worth it! Esp when you dine and eat good foods… And oh, outlet mall, anyone? :D
What I love about traveling is experiencing food from different places! Yum! It looks like your treck from Philly to Atlantic City was fun and delicious!

I have never been to Atlantic City but I just moved to the East Coast last year so it’s now a possibility! Is it a family friendly destination? I have 3 kids 4-10!
That bed looks so comfy, wouldn’t mind getting in right now. :P What an awesome trip, I love taking trips like these too.
