Happy Monday!! Today I am back with day two of my Vegas trip recap!! We were only in Vegas for two days so I guess this is technically also the last Vegas recap? LOL!! So let’s get to it!! It you missed part one (which included pics from the Maroon 5 concert!!!!) you can catch that here.
After our super long night out we didn’t get up until 10am Vegas time and promptly headed down to our hotel’s restaurant/bar for breakfast and bottomless mimosas!! Afterwards we headed out to see the sights!!
First of all can I just say how weird it is to see palm trees outside when it’s so cold outside?? The whole time we were in Vegas it was in the 30’s and 40’s!! BRRRR!! I guess I never thought about it being cold there??
The first thing we did was head to the Bellagio to go shopping!! On the way we stopped in an outdoor mall and I got these awesome Ray-Ban Wayfarers as my “Vegas Souvenir”! I have been needing a good pair of shades and these are perfect!!
After my purchase we headed into the Bellagio and did a little shopping! I have to admit right now that I have never been in such high end stores before!!! We went to Louis Vuitton, Yves St Laurent, and Chanel just to name a few!! While in Chanel Rebekah got herself a souvenir and I fell in love with this necklace…
…it goes perfectly with my Old Navy vest and Maurice’s top, right? HA! While super expensive and totally out of my price range, I did fall completely in love with it!!
After shopping we headed back out to the strip and caught the water show in front of the Bellagio on our way out! How cool is that?? I love that it plays different music and was different every time we saw it!
We walked all the way down to New York New York, stopping in lots of hotels on our way only to find that most of them had the exact same high end shops with the exact same stuff?? Weird!!
We cabbed it from New York New York to Caesar’s Palace and totally had a “Hangover” moment!! I can’t even tell you how bad I wanted to ask someone if the hotel was pager friendly!!! HAHAHA!!
After getting lost in Caesar’s and walking in a huge circle, we finally found our way out and headed to our next destination, Serendipity!!
You know we had to try the Frozen Hot Chocolate and we got lunch/dinner too!! Y’all. All I wanted was a chili dog and they brought me this massive thing!!! OMG!! Needless to say, I only ate the dog, no bun and no coleslaw. HA! I also got the Peanut Butter Frozen Hot Chocolate instead of the original and it was amazing!!!
It was dark by the time we finished our meal and so we headed to the High Roller next!! The High Roller is a 550-foot tall giant Ferris wheel!!
It currently holds the title for world’s tallest ferris wheel and never stops moving. It is moving when you jump on and still moving when you jump off. the cabins you ride in are totally enclosed and can fit up to 40 people. We were lucky in our timing and only rode with six other people! Go us!!
We walked some more after The High Roller, ran into DJ Khaled (first celeb sighting!!), and took a rode on a gondola at The Venetian!!
We then hiked down to the Wynn and walked through the lobby. The Wynn’s lobby was absolutely gorgeous!! Everything is made out of flowers and they still had some Christmas decorations up. I was in love and would definitely stay there next time I go to Vegas!!
We caught a cab from the Wynn back to the Bellagio because we had ticket to O!! O was the first Cirque show I have ever seen and I have to say the bar is officially set high!! This show was amazing and now I want to see more!!
After O we hiked it back to our hotel, packed our bags, and passed out! Rebekah and I got all of two hours of sleep before we had to head to the airport to catch our 5am flight back to Dallas. What is up with weird flight times to and from Vegas?? Ugh!!!
We made a few quick stops in Dallas before heading back to Arkansas…Trader Joes, Starbucks, and Mi Cocina!! I am also happy to report that I got a few new mugs to add to my collection…
Overall I had a BLAST in Vegas and I will definitely go again if given the opportunity! However, I will try to go back when it’s a little warmer outside! LOL!!
Have you ever been to Vegas??
What was your favorite thing to so/see??

The fountains at the Bellagio are amazing aren’t they? We stayed at the Paris last time we were there, which is across the street, so we saw it a few times on that trip!
Looks like it was a blast indeed for you! I am in Vegas about 5-6 times a year for work, for 8 days+ at a time. Next time, if you want to go in my place I’ll stop by your blog LOL!
Awesome trip! I enjoyed reading your post and looking at the pictures. The Chanel necklace looks so lovely! Great to know you had a fun time!
Looks like you had an absolute blast! Looks like a fun girls weekend. We have thought about going to Vegas for a girls weekend but actually have never been yet now I know I need to go.
This trip was one for the ages! So much fun!!! I’m so glad we found the high roller to go up in and see all of Vegas in the dark.
You definitely did a lot of walking. We always do as well when we go to Vegas. Up one side of the strip and down the other side. We love Vegas as well, and need to go back again soon.
I’m planning on going there for my birthday in May but was told a weekend would not be enough so not I’m thinking of heading there another time when I have more time.
That necklace is gorgeous. I think it’s ok to splurge sometimes lol
That is the biggest chili dog I have ever seen lol. It would feed several of us. What a fun time it seems that you had.
You certainly made the most of your trip! It sounds like so much fun, I would love to visit sometime. What a great way to spend time with the girls, while having a great time!
Exploring must have been a ton of fun. I’d really like to see Vegas again. You hit a few of my favorite places.
That looks like so much fun. I can’t believe the size of that darn hot dog! I am not the biggest hot dog fan but I would try that – without the bun. Extra cheese! ;) Everything is so bright and vibrant. I need to go there and have some bright light cheer.
It looks like you are having an awesome time! I love to shop at the Bellagio! Such great finds.
I’ve never been in Las Vegas. I’d really love to go there soon. I’m happy you had a great time.
Vegas is such a fun place to visit. I have a good time every time I go. That necklace is a awesome souvenir.
Shopping in Vegas looks so FUN! I think that will be the first activity I would be excited about when I’d go on a trip there. The High Roller is also one thing to try for those who are free-spirited people who look forward to adventure. :)
I lived in Vegas for 4 years and enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back and watch the shows. Maybe next year
Looks like you had an awesome experience. I wish we can go there on our wedding anniversary i really want to go there.
It sure looked like you had a blast! How fun it is to travel with friends, I enjoyed a lot looking at your photos. There’s so much to see in Vegas!
What a way to explore a place with friends. That chili dog is massive, lol.
You ladies had a blast. It’s always fun to travel with friends. I hope to visit Vegas soon.
There is so much to see and do and eat! I would love to get out that way and enjoy some sun and fun!
It looks like you had a blast. I love the photos. I have always wanted to go to Vegas.
We’ve never been to Vegas yet, but it’s definitely on our bucket list. Those mugs are cute. I collect souvenirs too – fridge magnets. :)
I’m due for another visit to Vegas! I’ve been there twice already (once with my cousins and once with an ex) but I need to take my husband there!
I’ve been to Vegas a few times and loved it. There’s so much to see and do and so much activity going on all the time. I love the Bellagio fountains too!
Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I still haven’t been to Vegas yet. I want to go someday though. I think it would be an amazing experience.
This sounds like an amazing shopping trip. I have never really been shopping in high end stores before and I have to admit I think the stuff is to high priced. It would still be fun to window shop though. The necklace does go very well with the vest. I have never ever seen a hot dog that huge before to which it would be lunch and dinner. lol Thanks for sharing the shopping experience.
You always have so much fun. =) Take me along sometime. I would love to have fun like that. =)
Omg the Chanel necklace!!!! Every time I go into a Chanel store I just stare at that thing…. One day I will buy it…. One day ;-)
I have never been to Las Vegas before, but a cousin of mine told me it’s beautiful! Casinos instantly came to mind whenever I heard about Las Vegas, so it never piqued my interest until my cousin told me how much she enjoyed her trip. :)
Love the mugs, I collect them as well! Also love you recap, it looks like you had a blast!
We went to Vegas, and I did not explore it as much as I wanted to…and I lost all our pictures from the trip. It’s such a fun place to visit.
OMG so jealous! I haven’t gone to Vegas yet but I definitely can’t wait to go! It’ll be an amazing time! I love all the pictures and you all did ALOT in the short amount of time y’all were there! So awesome! ♥
Such a fun trip! It’s my dream to try out Serendipity! I wish I can visit it one of these days.
Vegas, baby! You’re so lucky! It must have been amazing, Ricci!
