Fruit Dip, Party Punch, and Pinwheels {recipes}

This post contains affiliate links.

This past weekend I co-hosted a baby shower for one of my very best friends ever. She was my college roommate, sorority sister and my partner in crime for many years. We both wound up in central Arkansas for our post-college big-girl jobs and I love that I still get to see her! I was in her wedding a couple of years ago and now she’s having a baby!!! Life is good y’all.

For her baby shower we did an owl theme and I was in charge of food (other than the cake)! What fat kid wouldn’t love to be in charge of food? HA! I decided to do something sweet, something savory and something to drink. It was an afternoon shower so no need for a meal or anything, just snack food. Looking back I kind of wish I had done a dip of some sort? Everyone loves dip!

Anyway, today I am going to share with you the three things I made for the shower and their recipes!! Here we go…

Fuit Dip

This is my step-mom’s recipe and  she uses it for all parties, showers and holidays. It is insanely good and it’s super easy to make. It also freezes well if you wind up making a little too much and don’t want to waste it. Or eat it all yourself, I won’t judge. HA!

Party Punch

This is my Grandma’s Party Punchrecipe and she makes every Christmas (she calls it Christmas Punch) but I love it all year round! Again, this recipe makes a TON and also freezes well. Is it just me or do you always think of Steel Magnolias when someone says something “freezes well”?? LOL!! LOVE that movie!!

    Yum, all of that looks so good. I’m obsessed with a fruit dip (even though fruit alone is good too) I can eat fruit dip with a spoon and nothing else ;) hehe

    I used the whole packet of dressing mix with the cream cheese as instructed and it was to salty to use. How much should I have used?

      Oh no! I’m sorry you didn’t like it! I like to use the whole pouch to the cream cheese but some people use less, just depends on how “ranchy” you like it!

    I was so excited to find the recipes that you have posted, especially the Dot Cookies! These are my daughters favorite cookies in the whole world so I’m excited to try my hand at making them for her. I also am curious about the fruit bar recipe that you might could share with me as this is also one of my families favorite. Would that be possible?
