Favorite Daytime Moisturizer

This post contains affiliate links.

This week I am picking my Summer Skin Series back up and I am going to tell you all about my favorite daytime moisturizers! In case you missed any of my previous posts you can check them out here…facial cleansers, cleansing oils, exfoliators, masks, and toners.

Just as a reminder, I have combination skin that is pretty normal to dry and slightly oily in my t-zone so the products I talk about and use are best for those skin types. I have also chosen a mix of high and low end products so that there is something for everyone. However when you are talking about moisturizer a little goes a loooooong way and so while all of the ones I am talking about today may seem higher priced trust me when I say they are worth the investment and will last you at least a year.

I love a good moisturizer and actually didn’t even use one until my late twenties because I didn’t like the feel of them on my skin. I started with Clinique’s Gel Moisturizer (the yellow one but in a gel formula) and have moved on since then. If there was one skincare product I would spend a little more money on it would be a good moisturizer. This is the product that really sinks in to your skin and you only want to best predicts to really absorb.

All that being said, let’s talk about moisturizer!!

KIEHL’S Since 1851 Ultra Facial Cream / Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator /
bliss triple oxygen ex-‘glow’-sion vitabead-infused moisture / Malin+Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer

ONE. KIEHL’S Since 1851 Ultra Facial Cream I got a sample of this Keihl’s Ultra Facial Cream in a Birchbox and was actually surprised by how much I loved it. It’s heavier than my usual moisturizer but doesn’t feel too heavy. It is unscented and works really well during the colder months.

TWO. Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator This baby I use very single day. I got a huge jar of it in the Nordstrom sale last year (2015) and just recently ran out and had to buy more. I love the cream-gel formula and the way it really gets in to your skin. I love this product any time of the year and it is my number one go-to!!

THREE. bliss triple oxygen ex-‘glow’-sion vitabead-infused moisture I found this product at Ulta last year and am actually just now finishing up a small jar. I love the orangey/citrus smell and the way the microbeads explode against your skin. This is a fabulous moisturizer that isn’t heave but really gets the job done.

FOUR. Malin+Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer Ahhh….Malin+Goetz is my number one most-coveted moisturizer ever. I got a sample in my Birchbox and am obsessed! Anything with Vitamin E is good for your skin and this moisturizer actually helps balance the ph of your skin.

That’s is for my fave daytime moisturizer roundup!! Next week I am going to tell you all about my favorite nighttime moisturizers!!

What is your favorite daytime moisturizer??

Moisturizer is my best friend. I have dry skin, so I never skip or skimp when it comes to moisturizer. I use a lighter one during the summer and go a tad heavier once winter arrives.

My skin tends to be on the dry side, and boy did they really get dry this past summer. I have to check out the moisturizers you’ve listed here. I have not tried Kiehl brand yet. I guess it seems like it would be worth the try.

These are some great moisturizers. I love Clinique brand so I can’t wait to try out their day moisturizer. The Kiehl’s one also sounds fabulous.

Going into winter, I’ll need to take stock in lotion. I have normal skin, but, these northeast winters? Not my friend! Great informative post!

I do no use a moisturizer on my face, just my neck and hands. I have super sensitive skin and every time I “try” a moisturizer I either have a huge break out OR I break out in hives and a terrible eczema rash. But , I love a good moisturizer for my neck!!

I have noticed that the older I get my skin tends to dry out more. I know I need to drink more water, but I like that there are products out there to help out with keep your skin moisturized.

These sound like really nice ones. I think I’m in between favorites right now. I’ll probably need to change moisturizers when it starts getting cooler.

Sounds like a great product. I know I need to start considering a moisturizer. I just keep putting it off, because there are so many to chose from.

I love moisturizers, they keep my skin hydrated throughout the day especially during the summer. These all sound amazing but if I were to choose, clinique would be my choice.

I want to try the one from Kiehls. I think a good moisturizer is the most important thing you can give your skin.

Does Eucerin count? Because that is what I use on my bare naked face.
