Favorite Face Masks

This post contains affiliate links.

Today I am continuing my Summer Skin Series with my favorite face masks!! If you missed the previous weeks I have already covered exfoliators, cleansing oils, and regular cleansers. For reference I have combination skin, pretty normal most of the time and oily in the T-Zone. So here we go with masks…

facemasks

Malin+Goetz’s Clarifying Clay Mask / Bliss Multi-face-eted Anti-Aging Clay Mask / Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask / fresh Rose Face Mask / Michael Todd’s Pumpkin Nutrient Rich Facial Mask

ONE. Malin+Goetz’s Clarifying Clay Mask I actually got this mask as part of my Birchbox subscription a few months ago and finally used it and now I’m in love! I love that this is a clay mask because clay is so good about drawing out impurities and it also doubles as an exfoliator if you are running short on time! It has tiny particle os pumice in it and really leaves my skin all soft and glowy! This mask is on the pricy side but lasts forever!

TWO. Bliss Multi-face-eted Anti-Aging Clay Mask I discovered this mask after it came in a set I grabbed one day at Ulta. I love pretty much every product I have tried from the Bliss line and this mask is no exception. It is made with spa-level 10% glycolic acid, quartz, nourishing jojoba oil, and detoxifying carbon and I can actually feel my face tingle when I use it. I love it because I know it’s actually working!!

THREE. Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask I heard about this mask from my friend Rebekah and asked for a sample the lat time I was in Sephora (You can ask for a sample of anything in the store!!). This mask is super soothing, especially if you’ve been out in the sun all day or are just feeling a little dry. My favorite way to use it is to leave it in the fridge and use it after a looong day at work. Talk about relaxation…YAS!!

FOUR. fresh Rose Face Mask There is a funny story about this mask…I was in Sephora admiring it and wishing I could try it, I am a little bit obsessed with any face care that involves roses, and when I went to check out (sans mask because it was not in my budget) I got my birthday reward and guess what it was? A sample of this mask! It was totally meant to be!! I love this mask because it’s really silky feeling, smells amazing, and leaves my skin feeling super soft and hydrated after.

FIVE. Michael Todd’s Pumpkin Nutrient Rich Facial Mask I don’t know about you but I love me some pumpkin!! I actually got this mask as part of an Ipsy bag a year or two ago and have been obsessed ever since! First of all it smells like pumpkin, secondly it has tons of protective antioxidants and strengthening vitamins and just makes my face feel good. It’s also not overwhelmingly pumpkin so even the non-pumpkin fans can use it. I may have to buy the full size for fall!!

And that’s all I have for face masks. I love a good face mask and do them once or twice a week. There is absolutely nothing better than putting on a mask, grabbing a good book and a glass of something bubbly and hopping in a bubble bath. Best. Night. Ever.

Do you use a face mask??
What’s your favorite mask??

I hate to admit that I haven’t used a face mask in a while and was wondering last week about a good one to try. And now I have five to sample. Thanks!

That cucumber gel mask sounds really cool. I love pampering myself with a face mask from time to time.

I haven’t use a face mask in a very long time. I use to have the one that dried then you could peel it off after awhile. I am going to have to check these items out to see how my skin handles it.

I need something to help with the dry skin I have in my face. I’ve actually never tried a mask believe it or not, but I’m gonna try couple of these and see how they work.

Hmm, it would be cool to try a couple of these. I haven’t looked into face masks very much. My daughter likes them though.

I love how my skin feels after using a face mask but I can’t remember the last time I used one. I have a combination skin as well and I want to give all of your suggestions a try.

I’ve heard great things about the Peter Thomas Roth line from my cousin. These masks are a little out of my price range, however, if I got to sample it and saw it worked really well, I would definitely become a repeat customer. So happy Sephora lets us try samples first! :)

Face Masks are my life. Lately I’ve been obsessed with Sheet Masks. You can get them pretty much anywhere now, BUT some of my favorites are from a brand called Peach & Lilly. You can get an assortment pack for like $20.00. They are incredible!!!
