Nashville Adventures

This post contains affiliate links.

This past weekend Rebekah and I loaded up (with my Sophie boo) and hit the road!!

We went to Nashville to stay the weekend with our other bloggy bestie Jenn!! We haven’t been all together in Nashville since our trip last summer. Needless to say this was long overdue!!

We got to the Nash kind of late so as soon as we got there we walked to Burger Republic and grabbed some dinner!! One thing I love about Nashville is that Jenn lives in The Gulch and pretty much anything you need or want is within walking distance. I absolutely love that and wished I lived somewhere like that!! One day…

Back to Burger Republic. We started the night with Tator Tot Fondue and y’all. This stuff is just magical. I wish I had a vat of that cheese sauce to dip everything I own in. It is that good y’all. Trust me on this.

We also has boozy milkshakes and I got the NBC – Nothing Bundt Cake Spiked Shake and y’all it was life changing!! It was made with whipped marshmallow vodka and topped with a red velvet bundtini. Seriously the BEST!!

For my burger I got the 4 Cheese Garlic Bacon. It was topped with a four cheese blend, applewood bacon, garlic aoli and roasted garlic clove butter. And of course I got the mac and cheese for my side. Apparently that’s my thing on vacation, mac and cheese for every meal!! HA!!

We passed out when we got back from dinner #OldPeopleStatus but that was a good thing because the next morning we were up early for the whole reason we came to Nashville…Vintage Market Days!!

The one to get in was reeeeeally long so we passed the time by taking selfies!! HA!!

The first thing we did at VMD was grab something to eat, of course. We missed breakfast and had to fuel up for a day full of shopping ahead of us. This was serious business. I grabbed a burger and onion rings from the Fried Green Tomatoes food truck and it was delish!!

I somehow sucked it up as a blogger and didn’t take any more pics at Vintage Market Days. OOPS!! What can I say, I was too busy shopping!!

After shopping we headed back to Jenn’s and took my Sophie boo for a walk. Of course this walk included sipping on some Starbucks on a patio in The Gulch and my Sophie Boo even got her very own puppichino!! She LOVED it.

Next we headed out for blowouts!! We tried a new spot this time, The Dry House. They Dry House is sort of famous in Nashville as it is co-owned by Ali Ryan and Cassidy Black Bentley. Yes, you read that right, the wife of Dierks Bentley is co-owner of The Dry House. As well as your regular joes/janes The Dry House has also played host to many celebs including one of my faves…Miranda Lambert!!

Isn’t it just adorable???!!!

I veered outside of my comfort zone and got a braided topknot with beachy waves and I absolutely loved it!! My stylist gave me a few tips on how to recreate it at home so hopefully I will be rocking this style frequently!!

And of course here are the fab three rocking our florals and our fresh blowouts!!

After our blowouts we hit up The Cosmetic Market in Brentwood, Nordstrom Rack and then Del Friscos for dinner. We hit up Sprinkles on the way back to Jenn’s and then I crashed so hard when we got home. HA!!

The next morning we got up early to go to brunch at our fave, Biscuit Love. We went to Biscuit Love last summer and then again when Sophie and I crashed at Jenn’s for the night a few weeks ago. I hope this becomes our tradition!!!

And still rocking my top knot, of course!!

We started out meal with Bonuts, duh.

And then I got the Lily which is biscuit french toast topped with lemon mascarpone, blueberry compote and maple syrup. It Heaven has a taste I’m pretty sure this is what it would taste like.

After that amazing brunch we loaded up and headed back to Arkansas. All in all it was a great trip and I already can’t wait to go back!! I also vote that Jenn visits Arkansas soon!!!
