Where has this week gone?? No seriously, HOW is it already Friday?? Since it’s Friday you know what that means…it’s time for the Friday Five! If you are new around here then you should know that I reserve Friday’s for random things. Things I should still be on the blog but maybe wouldn’t make a full blog post? So that’s where we are today, the Friday Five!
Enough rambling, let’s get to it!
ONE. I’m sorry I dropped the ball on blogging this week. I actually had a full week’s worth of posts planned out and then never got around to actually executing them?? HA! I had some insane traffic from this post over the weekend that had me elbows deep in Google Analytics trying to figure out where the traffic came from and that had me elbow deep in code trying to fix a different issue I was having with the site and that brings me here. To Friday and having only posted once this week. Sorry guys! But if you did catch Monday’s post then you read all about my obsession with fall vests. That’s actually a really good post, promise!
TWO. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram then you know that I am currently on a little road trip in Texas! I spent yesterday in Waco visiting Magnolia Market/Silos/the Bakery/Chip and Jodi land and it was so much fun! I can’t wait to get my full blog post up about it next week!!
THREE. Today I am in Dallas and am planning on visiting the Dallas Arboretum and seeing all of the pumpkin goodness!! I can’t wait! If you went last year then you know that the theme was The Wizard of Oz and the pumpkins and displays were magical! I was trying my best to not look up the theme this year because I wanted to be surprised buy if you know me then you know I couldn’t help myself and I peeked!! This year’s theme is Neverland and I am so PUMPED to check it out!!
FOUR. I haven’t posted about it a lot lately but I am still plugging along on my Profile diet! I have good days and bad days but hey, that’s life! And as long as the good outweighs the bad I am totally ok with that! That being said I know now thing I really need to work on is my workouts. Walking Sophie in the park is fun and all but I want to be challenged and I really want to run/jog a 5K one day. Did I really just say that??? Oh my! So if you have done the Couch to 5K and were successful let me know!! I think I’m going to try that!!
FIVE. I also posted this pic to Instagram last week and got SO MUCH LOVE from y’all!! I was feeling pretty down because I hadn’t lost any weight in a few days (in my head I know that’s not a big deal but I was just having an emotional day) and I found an old pic on Facebook and knew I still had the same shirt in my closet so I tried it on and let me just tell you that pic gave me so much motivation to get out there and work harder!! The difference in the left and the right are about 45 pounds!! The first half I lost on my own and the last with the help of Profile!!
I hope you have had a fantastic week and will have an even better weekend!!
Do you have any big plans for this weekend??
