Pumpkins at the Dallas Arboretum – Wizard of Oz Style!

This post contains affiliate links.

This past weekend when I was in Dallas with my bestie Rebekah we went to the Dallas Arboretum! It was the most perfect, cool, overcast Sunday morning! Now it did sprinkle/rain on us a little bit while we were there but it was still magical!! Since it was mid-November we were lucky enough to see ALL THE PUMPKINS and some of the Christmas decor too. I photographed both but today I am only going to show you the pumpkins at the Dallas Arboretum, the Christmas stuff can wait!

This was my first trip to the Arboretum so I am going to assume that each year there is a theme to the pumpkin decor? I sure hope so! Either way this year the theme was Wizard of Oz! The Wizard of Oz was one of my Mom’s most favorite movies of all time so I have seen it numerous times and fortunately for me I love it just as much as she did. I know she would have loved all of the pumpkins and especially the Wizard of Oz pumpkin houses and the yellow brick road and just everything about the Arboretum!!

So without further ado I give you the pumpkins at the Dallas Arboretum – Wizard of Oz style!!

Aren’t all of the pumpkins just wonderful?? Obsessed is an understatement to how I felt!! I loved it all…the Horses of a Different Color, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man…everything!! I could have stayed there all day I loved it so much!

If you get the chance to visit Dallas during the fall I would highly suggest you go to the Arboretum and check out all the pumpkins!! Who knows what the theme will be next year? I can’t wait to see!!

Have you visited the Dallas Arboretum??
Are you as pumpkin obsessed as I am??

The yellow-bricked road is so darn adorable! This place looks like so much fun – would’ve gone so well with our Halloween costumes this year

I love what the arboretum did here. Pumpkins are so much fun. They come in far more varieties than people think, and I always think of the Wizard of Oz when I think of this time of year.

This is just too cool there. We have a thing out here where they put together these marvelously lit up pumpkins. Was amazing.
