If I had to pick one skincare product that I think is underrated it would have to be moisturizer. I think a lot of people either don’t know the importance of using a good moisturizer or they just haven’t ever used one so why start now? I was in the latter camp until about ten years ago.
Ten years ago I was 25 years old, had just gotten my “real” job right out of college (that I’m still at today!!) and started really taking care of my skin. I finally had the means to do so and so I started reading up on all of the different skincare products (keep in mind, these were the pre-Pinterest or blog days) and why you should use them. At that point in my life I slept in my makeup every night (GROSS) and I only ever washed my face when I was in the shower. I used a toner and that was it. That was the extent of my skincare routine.
These days my skincare routine is a little more complicated but it works and my skin is so much better than it was 10 years ago! These days I use two different face washes, a toner, an eye treatment, a facial oil/serum and a moisturizer. I also exfoliate my face when I’m in the shower and mask up a couple times a week. I am very picky about the products I use, especially since I recently turned 35 (gotta take care of all of these fine lines y’all!!!), and research everything before using it. Have I mentioned how skincare obsessed I am? HA!
Back to moisturizers…so the other day I was at Kroger making my weekly grocery run when I stumbled upon the health and beauty section. My local Kroger is one of the big Kroger Marketplaces and it has a huge beauty section which I totally geek out about because it is usually loaded with the newest beauty products. In fact I discovered my favorite mascara primer at the same Kroger a few years ago!
I was perusing the body washes and hand soaps (they were on super sale) when I turned around and BAM to what do my wondering eyes did appear but the new Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer that I had been wanting to try!! If you have been on social media at all in the past couple of weeks then chances are you have seen blog reviews, video reviews or photos of this product and I was stoked to find it at Kroger because not only was it in stock but I found a coupon for it on my Kroger app!! YASSSSS! I threw it in my cart and did a happy dance.
Side note – I’m sorry to anyone who saw above mentioned happy dance, HA!
Other side note – I found my Olay Whips at the Kroger Marketplace in Benton (if you are local to central Arkansas) but you can find yours at your local Kroger or Kroger banner store!
If you have read this blog for any amount of time, or have seen any of my previous posts about moisturizers/face products in general then you know I don’t like heavy products on my face. I usually go for gel moisturizers or really light cream moisturizers but basically I don’t want to actually feel anything on my face. I don’t like my face to feel “heavy” or feel like I caked on too much product. You know what I mean? Gross!

I have used Olay products since forever. I remember when I was a little girl my mom used Oil of Olay on her face every night before bed, so I grew up knowing it was the best.
I have always had naturally oily skin. I’ve never used a moisturizer at all, but have heard a good number of people mention Olay and how much they like it.
I’ve always been a fan of Olay products. I’ll have to pick this up. My face needs all the help it can get, let me tell you. Your skin looks fabulous!
Olay products have been around for many years and are a proven product that works. This new moisturizer sounds wonderful and something to give a try.
I love Olay products, but haven’t gotten this one yet. I do plan on giving it a try as soon as I run out of my current moisturizer.
I love Olay products! My dad used them for years and looks so young and he’s almost 60! I haven’t seen the Whip range here in Ireland yet but I’ll look out for it. I currently use the 7 effects range.
Olay is one of my most trusted brands and I’ve been seeing this product around for some time now. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it and I love how it keeps your skin hydrated and soft!
That stuff looks like the real deal! I need a good skin cream.
Had a chance to sample this at BlogHer last year. Love Olay. My grandma used it, my mom used it and now I use it as well. Great product and it always leaves my skin feeling and looking amazing.
Moving from dry one day to humid the next I really need some solid, hardworking moisturizer. I should really like the lightness of the whip it sounds like.

I definitely need to step up my skin care game! I don’t wear makeup and the only thing I really use on my face is moisturizer here and there but I really want to start having a legit skin care routine. The new Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer sounds awesome.
Olay has always been my personal favorite ever since. But some of their brands can be very expensive. I tried this once and got the product from Taiwan airport. Seemingly, the price was cheaper. I was happy to try it and wished I got myself two bottles!
I think I’m going to give them a try. I think there’s an ibotta coupon out there for them now. You look great without make-up by the way. I wish I looked that great!

I would go for the one that does the most. I’m terrible with a long beauty routine. I want a shirt and sweet type of deal.
Have used a lot of Olay products and found them all wonderful. Not tried the whip face moisturizer though. Seeing rave reviews of this product, guess need to give it a try.
