It’s Friday and you know what that means….it’s time for the Friday Five! Seeing as how this is the very last Friday Five of the year I thought I would take a look back at all of the blog posts I have written in 2017 and share with you my top five most popular posts of 2017!! I will also share a few honorable mentions at the end of this post because it’s so hard to choose just 5!
ONE. Dry Shampoo vs Texturizing Spray: What’s the Difference?? My most popular post of 2017 by far you guys wanted to know the difference between dry shampoo and texturizing spray and I told you everything I know and also included my favorites of each! For reference this is my fave dry shampoo and this is my fave texturizing spray that I mentioned in the post.
TWO. How to Fake a Blowout at Home. My second popular post on the ole blog this year was all about faking a blowout at home. I still love this post although I have replaced my curling iron with this curling wand. I guess I need to do an updated post but with the wand?? We shall see…
THREE. How to Make Shaved Legs Last Longer this Summer. My third most popular post was all about taking your shaved legs last longer during the summer months. The same “rules” apply for the winter months, just FYI.
FOUR. My Lancôme Visionnaire Crescendo 28 Day Peel Experience. Apparently y’all like my beauty posts? Dually noted for 2018…LOL! But for real, this post is the freakin best thing I have ever done for my skin and I want to do it again soon! I need to get rid of this winter funk!!
FIVE. Travel Beauty Essentials. In this post I shared all of my travel beauty essentials, or really just the things that stay packed in my travel beauty bag all the time so I can just grab it and go! I don’t know about you but I am obsessed with travel sized items!!
Honorable mentions include every post I wrote about Netflix and this super yummy Corona Queso Dip! Also posts NOT written in 2017 but still getting major traffic are…Fruit Dip, Party Punch and Pinwheels, Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer, How to Properly Use a Sugar Scrub and Homemade Sugar Scrub.
What would you like to see on the blog in 2018??

It’s always fun to go back and see which posts were a favorite of your readers. It’s often times a surprise and it helps us see what our readers like and want more of. I always enjoy your beauty posts, especially when you try out the different brands and pick your favorite. I look forward to reading more great posts from you in 2018!

You have covered a good variety of things that we all need and use. I’m going to have to get a curling wand because they look like they are much easier to use than a curling iron. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve burned my fingers on my curling iron. Thank you for the year in review. Happy New Year!

I love the reflection the end of the year brings. We forget about some of the dope things we wrote about earlier in the year. Cheers to a new year.

My favorite among your list is the travel beauty essentials. As a Mom, I always forget the things I need because my priority are the kids stuff when traveling.

I have to say, I never knew those were two different things; dry shampoo and texturizing spray. That’s very informative!
