Six years. Who would have thought that this little blog I started on a whim six years ago would still be going strong today. Technically my bloggiversary was 11/11 but I missed blogging on that day so here we are.
I remember being soooooo nervous when I hit publish on that first blog post and looking back on some of my older posts today make me cringe. HAHAHA!! You haven’t blogged long enough if you can’t look back at your older posts and complain about your writing or photography skills. Just saying.
I started this blog as a personal journal with the hopes of meeting some new people and it has grown into so much more than that in my six years of blogging. I have made some of my very best friends, chronicled my life, built a house, gotten a puppy, gone back to school and graduated with a degree in E-Commerce, gone to some amazing blog conferences, had the chance to work with some amazing companies, gone on some amazing vacations and am just happy. And I have all of my memories here forever to always go back and look at. You can’t get any better than that.
I have always written something about my blogging anniversary and I think it’s fun to go back and read those and see what I wrote in previous years so here they are for better or for worse…

In the next year I just want to grow. I want to grow as both a blogger and as a person. I want to really find myself. Sometimes I feel like I finally have it figured out and then life is like nahhh…just kidding. Know what I mean? I want to travel more. I want to downsize and live more minimally. I want to try out a capsule wardrobe. I want to get rid of the excess. I want to live a healthier lifestyle. I want to be a better person.
I have a lot to work on in the next year and a lot to look forward to. To the next year, cheers!!

What a great achievement! I look back on my 9 years and cannot believe it has been that long and how so much has changed over those years. Keep it up, you are doing great!
Congratulations and I wish you so much success with your new goals! Blogging has changed my life, for the better for sure. It’s made me feel more confident and allowed me to believe in myself so much more than I used to. it’s also showed me how to have patience and that I have to work really hard to get what I want. It’s been a journey for sure!

Congratulations! I have been blogging since 2011, and I love that I have pretty much full control over it. There really is nothing like it, for me. I have always wanted to be my own boss, and with blogging the sky’s the limit!

Oh wow happy 6th blogaversary, I have only been blogging for 3 and its been an incredible journey. I do cringe looking at my first few posts but it was all fun and games then.
