Spiked Carmel Apple Spice {recipe}

First things first…I am headed out of town today for Megaphone Summit!!! I will be in NWA from today (Thursday) until Sunday. If you want to keep up with my shenanigans then you can follow along on SnapChat (username riccialexis83), Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook! If you are headed to Megaphone Summit I can’t wait to see you there!!

Back to the regularly scheduled programming…

One of my favorite things about fall are all of the seasonal drinks! As I am sure we all know by now, I love pumpkin anything and especially Pumpkin Spice Lattes!! However before I discovered the deliciousness of the PSL I was a Carmel Apple Spice fanatic.

The Carmel Apple Spice is the perfect fall/winter drink for those who aren’t big coffee fans. Basically it’s just steamed apple juice mixed with cinnamon syrup and topped with whipped cream and carmel sauce. It is delicious and a fall must!!

I have made it at home a few times with great success but this past summer when I discovered Rock Town Distillery’s Arkansas Lightning I just knew that I had to use the Apple Pie Arkansas Lightning for something special…and so Spiked Carmel Apple Spice it is!!

SpikedCarmelAppleSpice

All I did for this deliciousness was heat up some apple juice and mix in 2 shots of Apple Pie Arkansas Lightning and one shot of Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce syrup. I am a whipped cream fiend so I topped my drink with whipped cream and carmel sauce. If you are feeling super fancy you can make these yourself, or if you are me you can just buy them at the store, HA!

I grabbed my Starbucks Cinnamon Dolce Sauce online a few months ago when they were having a sale but I believe you can grab them in stored also.

If you like this recipe then you should check out my Blackberry Lemonade recipe made with Blackberry Cobbler Arkansas Lightning or Cherry Beergartia recipe! Or if you are more into fall recipes check out my homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice Coffee Creamer or Pumpkin Bread! YUM!

Have you tried a Starbucks Carmel Apple Spice??
Are you ready for fall??

    That sounds so good! I love fruity cocktails, but I also love cocktails with a kick. This satisfies both! Yay!
