For the past few years I have made a big deal out my New Year Resolutions and it worked for me! However I’m changing things up this year and I’m giving up making formal resolutions and making monthly goals instead. I think that monthly goals are more attainable and this gives me a chance to reevaluate things each month and see if I’m where I want to be and change things up if need be.
The one thing I will be keeping as a year long goal is my reading goal! I talked about it last week in my reading update but for 2020 I want to read at least 140 books. Last year I managed to read 131 books so I feel like this is doable for me.
One thing I want to get back to in 2020 is blogging old school style. What is old school blogging you ask? Blogging about my everyday life. Blogging just to blog and not necessarily have a point to each post. I hate blogs these days that are all lists or are always trying to sell you something. That’s not my style and I want to get back to real blogging. Remember the days of house tours and recipes and daily life?? I miss those! Also, I’m super nosy and just love reading about other people’s lives. So you can definitely expect more old school blogging in the future.
I am also getting back to skincare posts in 2020. I have gotten SO MANY emails and DM’s about Perioral Dermatitis and I need to do a full Q&A post about that as well as talking about all of the new products I recently received from PR companies. I have some good stuff to share with y’all.
I also want to do a full blog post about Orange Theory. Next month will be my one year anniversary and I have yet to do a full post about it! Along with Orange Theory I want to talk about my weight loss journey. I have so exciting things planned for 2020 when it comes to my weight loss journey and I have kept it all quiet for a long time but I can’t wait to share when the time is right!
Since January is over this week I won’t be making any monthly goals this month other than just SURVIVE because it’s been a pretty crappy month so far. Besides, I like to think of January as kind of a test month and it doesn’t really count anyway. You know what I mean?
