My Current Night Time Skincare Routine – Fall 2019

This post contains affiliate links.

I have gotten a few requests for skincare posts lately and I am sooooo excited about that! I love that y’all love my skincare posts because it is something I am truly passionate about and I love sharing what I’m using with y’all! I also decided to date the title of this post, hence the “fall 2019” so that if you search the blog for my skincare posts you can find the latest one!

Anyway, I thought I would start with my current night time skincare routine because it’s my favorite, HA! Also- all of the products listed below are SLS free because #PerioralDermatitis

ONE. Palmer’s Cleansing Balm. First things first I use a cleansing balm to take off all my makeup. I love this one because it’s cheap, gets all of my mascara off, is super gentle and leaves my face feeling extra soft. This is part one in my double cleansing routine which you may remember from this post last fall.

TWO. Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub. Next up I actually wash my face and prefer this face wash because it is super gentle, SLS free and a tiny bit of grit that really gets all of the balm off my face while still feeling extra gentle. Most days I use this with my hands but if I’m feeling fancy I use it with my Clarisonic. I just have the Mia2 and I love it! It really is worth the investment!

THREE. Clinique Clarifying Lotion. Now onto my ride or die, never let you go, never cheat on you again favorite part of my skincare routine. I have used this toner since I was 13 and have never looked back. I have tried others throughout the years and nothing, I mean NOTHING, compares to the clean my face feels after using this Clinique Clarifying Lotion. I can’t do the alcohol free toners, they leave my face feeling sticky and like I need to wash it again. If I’m #BallingOnABudget I will use this one from Neutrogena and it’s pretty similar and under $10 but I try to stock up on the Clinique when it goes on sale.

FOUR. Body Merry Eye Cream. I have used this eye cream for a little over a year now and I am still obsessed with it! I like that it’s super gentle, cruelty free, and that it actually works! It is actually my most clicked on and sold thing in my Amazon store so I feel like that says something about it as well. Try it yourself and see!

FIVE. Farmacy Honeymoon Glow. I grabbed this serum last year and I don’t use it every night but I do use it pretty frequently. It contains AHA/BHA/Flower Acid Blend 14% to help exfoliate your dead skin cells, targets hyperpigmentation, and helps reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. Yessss to all of those!!

SIX. Colleen Rothschild Intense Hydrating Mask. This is a pretty bougie product for me but trust me when I say a little goes a long way! I actually bought mine on eBay before finding it on Amazon for the same price…oops. It’s technically a mask but I use it as an overnight mask. Just slather it on and wash it off when you wake up! It really is good y’all and worth every penny!!

Now don’t @me about the number of products I use. On a good day I do all six, I’ve been bad lately and have been skipping the eye cream and serum. Oops! I really do need to get better and do it all because you only get one chance to do this skincare thing right! Mmmmkay?!

So there you have it, my current night time skincare routine. I hope you liked it and have no fear, I will post my day time routine next week! LOL!!

What is your favorite skincare product to use at night??

I’ve heard of some of these but others I have not. I’ll have to try them out. I’ve been wanting to improve on my nighttime skin care. I know I don’t do enough.

I don’t do a good enough job with my nighttime skincare routine. I used to use the Clinque clarifying lotion. It looks like I need to start using it again!

I am in need of a good eye cream, so I appreciate the suggestion. These days, my favorite skincare product is pure apple cider vinegar in place of toner. It has worked wonders on my skin!

I may need to use some of your beauty skincare routines, because I haven’t worn cover-up (foundation) since June and that’s what i used to wear to cover up the aging face, but now I just want to have a nice way to take care of my skin instead of hiding it with foundation.

I have used Colleen Rothschild’s moisturizer before and it was really good. It’s a little pricey, though. Haven’t tried the mask yet. I’d love to try it.
