Alright friends…we have finally made it to my last Disney recap post! I didn’t mean to but I saved the best for last because I have to admit that out of all of the Disney World parks, Magic Kingdom is my favorite!
There’s just something magical about walking into the park and seeing that iconic building that I had only ever seen in pictures before. Walking down Main Street USA and seeing Cinderella’s Castle! It was truly magical and I still blown away just thinking about it again!! Take me back!!
The one thing I had been looking forward to since we started planning this trip was seeing Cinderella’s Castle. It’s just so classic Disney and the one thing I had been dying to see. Friends, I can honestly tell you that it did NOT disappoint.
As soon as the park opened we hustled to the castle and there actually weren’t that many people there so we got to take our time and take pics adn walk through the middle of it. I didn’t take any pics (blogger FAIL) but the inside walkway of the castle is a huge stained glass mural that tells the story of Cinderella. You have to get there early to walk through it because they shut it down during the day for shows.
After the castle we rode a few rides…It’s a Small World, Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, etc and then we just wandered around the park exploring. Again, Snapchat was killing it on the filters and I finally wore my “1st Visit” pin!
After lunch we found good spots for the Festival of Fantasy Parade and grabbed drinks while we waited. Of course at Disney the Starbucks people ask how to spell your name so it’s correct on the cup. Gotta love that customer service! Also, if you do choose to get Starbucks at Disney be prepared to wait. This drink took almost 45 minutes to get but luckily for me we were waiting on the parade to start so it wasn’t a total waste of time.
The Festival of Fantasy was AMAZING!! It was definitely worth the wait and I got some great shots of some of my favorite characters!! I won’t bore you to death and share all of them with you but here are a few of my absolute faves…
My most memorable moment from the parade was when I accidentally tripped one of the Seven Dwarfs during the parade. I was sitting down on the sidewalk and had my feet sticking out (my bad) and Happy (I think??) tripped over my feet! I was so embarrassed but he quickly recovered and tried to kiss my foot anf patted me on the head. I almost DIED y’all!!
After the parade we went to ride more rides…Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, etc. We also ate dinner and then found the perfect place to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks show. We staked out our place to watch about an hour before it began and again, it was worth the wait because I thought we had great spots! Here are two of my favorite photos from the show…
And that, my friends, is a wrap on my very first Disney World trip!! Overall it was AMAZING and I still have a few more posts to go about Disney (what I packed, what I took with me daily to the parks, etc) but as for the trip recaps I am done! I hope to go back again soon and explore all of the things I didn’t get to this trip!
To see my recaps of the other parks check out these posts…Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.

Ohhh Ricci, what a way to rub it in haha. Your Disney World experience has been a dream of mine and my kids’ for YEARS and now seeing your amazing photos, I just have the urge to do this real soon!
Aww, how sweet of the Dwarf to have reactivated so gracefully to the accident. I look forward to reading your posts on what you packed daily and for the entire trip too!

Going to Disney is always a great time. I will say the wait times for certain rides and attractions are worth it, and I feel Magic Kingdom would be so as well

Looks like so much fun and a fabulous trip. It is sad my kids are older now but Disney is so much fun for any age including adults.

We went to Disney a few years ago, but the kids were small. We are planning to go back as a celebration when my husband finishes his graduate degree.
