Disney World 2019 Recap – Hollywood Studios

This post contains affiliate links.

TGIF!!! Am I right?? I am skipping my usual Friday Five post to share another Disney World recap post with you and so today is all about Hollywood Studios!!

I think Hollywood Studios is my third favorite Disney park. Magic Kingdom is number one with Animal Kingdom at a close second. Unfortunately that leaves Epcot in last place, sorry Epcot!! LOL!!

Hollywood Studios is very Hollywood. I know that sounds weird but it literally feels like you are walking onto a movie set when you walk into the park. There are palm trees everywhere, old Hollywood-esque stores and even the Disney version of Mann’s Chinese Theater!

We rode a few rides…Rockin’ Roller Coaster and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. And we saw the Beauty and the Beast Live show. That show was amazing and I totally sang along with it! LOL!

I also basic white girled it and got a Mickey Ice Cream and y’all…it was the perfect treat for that hot and sweaty day!!

We had a Fast Pass to Hollywood Studio’s night time show, Fantasmic, and after sitting in the amphitheater for almost an hour it started to lightening so they canceled the show. Talk about disappointing! Now I definitely have to go back so I can see it. HA! I hear it’s an awesome show.

I guess that’s a wrap on Hollywood Studios, I wish I had gotten more pics but I was living in the moment!

You can check out my other Disney World trip recaps here…Animal Kingdom and Epcot.

Have you been to Disney World??
What is your favorite Disney World park??

Magic Kingdom is number 1 for me too. I like Hollywood Studios too. Disney does everything top notch and it is always so much fun to visit.

Hollywood Studios is so much fun. I hate when it lightenings though and things are canceled. It’s happened to us as well. But yes, Fantasmic is a great show and I hope you get to see it!

The Animal Kingdom is my favorite and I’ve never been to Epicot so I need to go back with just me and my friends no kids

Magic Kingdom is my favorite, but Hollywood Studios is a close second. My girls loved the Tower of Terror (it’s called something else though now, right?) Now I’m craving some Micky Ears Ice Cream!

Hollywood Studios was our kids favorite part of the park when we went a few years ago. We are hoping to go back and visit again soon.

Never been but I sure would keep this park at Disney World in mind. My husband and son would go gaga over those rides.

I have not been to Disney World or any major park. Maybe one day. I bet you had the time of your life there.

I haven’t been to Hollywood Studios, but it sounds like a great park, especially if you don’t have small kids with you. It is too bad that they canceled the show, but now you just have to make sure to go back sooner than later!

It has been so many years since I visited Hollywood Studios but I had such a great time. I totally want to bring the kids there this year.

I am yet to visit Disney despite living in California. Looks like a great time and wonderful to see so many adults. I’ve heard great things about Epcot center and its surprising that it did not make one of your favorite stops. It’s a bummer your nighttime show got canceled. Though, it a great reason to go back. I hope to make to Disney soon!

I thought Hollywood Studios was one of the more fun parks for the kids. We went at night and it was a good time.

Hollywood Studios is my least favorite park. I love the Toy Story ride and that’s about it. My family is excited about Star Wars though.

I’ve not spent much time in Hollywood Studios, but I love your description of it, so now I have to add it to my list of things to do!
