My Favorite Heladerm Products

This post contains affiliate links.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Heladerm. While I was compensated for this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

First things first, sorry to leave you hanging this week! Over the weekend and through the first part of the week I was down with my first allergy attack of 2019 and it was awful. If you live in Arkansas (or anywhere that has severe temp changes) then you know exactly what I’m talking about. We started off the weekend with high’s in the 30’s and 40’s and by Saturday a front came through, it was 70*+ outside and all the crazy pressure went straight to my head. I was miserable with raging headaches, a runny and stuffy nose, sinus drainage like you wouldn’t believe and I felt like death.

Luckily for you (and for me) I survived and lived to tell the tale. And today I’m here to tell you all about my love for the Heladerm brand!

I was contacted by Heladerm around the first of the year to try their Vitamin C Serum. I talked about it briefly in this post and this post but today I wanted to tell you a little bit more about it, and my other favorite Heladerm products.

First up, why should you use a Vitamin C Serum? Vitamin C Serum is soooo good for your skin! It is one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants and has been proven to reduce the production of melanin (skin discoloration) and increase the production of collagen (elasticity). In addition to Vitamin C this serum also contains…

  • Hyaluronic Acid – smooths and plumps the skin
  • Vitamin E – protects the skin against free radicals and damage caused by the sun and pollution
  • Aloe – quickly penetrates the skin to deliver nourishing antioxidants

As someone who recently turned 36 all of these things are super important to me and also just love the way this serum feels on my skin. I use Heladerm’s Vitamin C Serum as a part of my daily skincare routine in the mornings by putting a few drops on my fingers and rubbing it all over my face and neck right after my toner and before my moisturizer.

So if you have been wanting to try a Vitamin C Serum but don’t know where to start, because let’s face it there are TONS out there, this is a good one to try!!

The next Heladerm product I’m going to talk about is the Melting Cleanser. I recently talked about it in my double cleansing post but I wanted to go into it a little more in depth so here we are! It’s not secret that I am obsessed with cleansing balms and this one is fantastic! It really gets all of the makeup off your face, including super stubborn mascara and eye liner, without being harsh at all!

Heladerm’s Melting Cleanser is a lightweight balm that melts into an oil when it comes into contact with your skin. It lifts away all impurities without stripping any of the good oils off your face. It removes all traces of makeup while still nourishing your face and moisturizing your skin. It also does NOT contain any parabens, phthalates, sulfates (super important for perioral dermatitis sufferers like me!!), petrolatum, mineral oil, or artificial colors and fragrances.

I use this at night in the first step of my double cleansing method to take all the makeup off of my face. So if you have been looking for a “good for your skin” cleanser then you have to try this one!

Next, I’m going to talk about Heladerm’s Illuminating Créme. This is a new to me product and I have to say that I am loving it so far! Like the other products in this brand this one is super moisturizing, doesn’t contain any bad ingredients and best of all, it actually does what it says it does!!

Heladerm’s Illuminating Créme is an advanced anti-aging cream that helps to correct dark spots, sun spots, discoloration, hyper-pigmentation, wrinkles and fine lines. Can we all just raise our hands in the air and sing the Hallelujah chorus? This cream is legit y’all! It contains an amazing lineup of good for your skin ingredients such as…

  • Notoginseng – Chinese root known for it’s powerful antioxidants
  • African Ginger Root – a vital antioxidant in ginger not only fights off skin cell damaging free radicals, but also helps diminish blemishes, acne scars, dark marks and age spots. It is said to help with skin complexion and fight acne.
  • Vitamin K – essential in aiding the body’s process healing dark spots, circle under the eyes, stretch marks and bruises.
  • Montana Arnica Oil – effectively heal bruises and sunburns. It contains lactones, flavonoids, carbonic acid and volatile oils which provide a lot of benefit to helping your skin heal.

I have been using this as a part of my daily skincare routine and I usually only use it as my daytime moisturizer although it can be used at night too. In fact, a lot of the reviews on this product are from people who use it at night and have had great results from it!!

And last, but certainly not least, is Heladerm’s Bruise Créme. If you are a klutz like me then this Bruise Créme will be your new best friend. HA! You may be asking yourself why in the world you need a bruise cream but you should really be asking yourself why you haven’t tried one before now. Even if you’re not a human wrecking ball like myself I’m sure you can relate to seeing a big bruise on your arm or leg and wondering how it got there. And they always show up at the most inopportune times, like when you need to wear a sleeveless dress or shorts for a certain occasion. Just me? I don’t think so.

Heladerm’s Bruise Créme works naturally with your skin to speed up the healing process by encouraging collagen production, which helps restore the skin to be more vibrant and youthful looking. Confession- I have been dabbing this on my crazy under eye bags/circles and I honestly think it has helped!! Just a few of the many active ingredients it contains are…

  • Green Tea Leaf Extract – a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory with anti-aging benefits. Green Tea Leaf Extract helps prevent the breakdown of collagen and reduce the skin’s UV damage.
  • Notoginseng
  • African Ginger Root
  • Vitamin K
  • Montana Arnica Oil
  • Vitamin E

This powerful cream has helped lots of people reduce the healing time of their bruises and I heard from one trusted source that it really helped with Botox associated bruises. I’m getting my Botox done again soon and I can’t wait to try it on that!!

So there you have it, all of my favorite Heladerm products in one extremely long (and informative) post. I hope you have found this post helpful and maybe found a new product to try?? Let me know your thoughts!!

Have you tried any Heladerm products??

The Bruise Cream sounds like something I could use with my aging skin. Taking care of your skin when you are young and there after is so important.

The bruise cream sounds really good. Having checked out the ingredients it seems well formulated as a bruise healer. I should get some to use on the kids. I like that there is a collagen stimulating effect. Might try that under my eyes too lol x

It seems like you’ve found a great brand! I’ve never heard of a bruising cream, but I could use one! I can’t tell if it is cruelty-free, but if it is, I’m going to get some for myself.

I love the idea of a bruise cream! I’m always knocking myself around and sometimes I’m too aggressive with my microdermabrasion machine – I will definitely give this a try!

The Vitamin C Serum sounds great! And the bruise cream, oh I need it! I always find small bruises on my legs because of my clumsiness.
