How I’m Keeping My Hair Healthy with the Waterpik Hair Wand

I think at this point we all know I’m pretty hair obsessed. But when you grew up with the awful lions mane that I did you tend to try any and everything you can within your power (and wallet) to keep your hair healthy and shiny!

Trust me when I say that I have tried just about every hair product and tool to keep my hair as healthy as possible but one thing people, myself included, tend to forget is that the actually process of washing your hair can be just as important as the products you use on it! If you think about it, how many times have you gotten out of the shower and tried to blow dry your hair only to realize that your hair feels heavy and gummy because there is still conditioner in it and had to jump back in the shower to re-rinse your hair? GUILTY…oops!

In order to combat that feeling of leftover product in your hair and save time in the shower the wonderful people at Waterpik created the Hair Wand with PowerComb™ attachment. ! What is a PowerComb™ you ask? Let me tell about this genius device…

The Waterpik Hair Wand is a dual shower head with a PowerComb™ attachment that can provide a complete rinse of you hair in less than a minute. Now Skeptical Sally over here didn’t actually think that could actually be true because I use a lot of conditioner on my hair (does anyone actually only use a quarter size dollop of conditioner?? I use a whole handful! HA!) and I let it sit anywhere from 5-10 minutes in the shower before rinsing. But in true wannabe scientist fashion I timed a full rinse with the PowerComb™ and sure enough, at just under a minute my hair felt completely rinsed of all conditioner. That’s crazy fast y’all!!

Another benefit of using the Waterpik Hair Wand is that it also helps to detangle your hair, promote a healthy scalp, and improve hair manageability!

As a bonus the PowerComb™ can also be used as a microphone in shower…HA! I may or may not have had a full on Ariana Grande concert in my shower. Is anyone else out there as obsessed with 7 Rings and Thank You Next as I am?? Get it Ariana!!

Back to the subject at hand…if any of this sounds good to you, and I’m sure it does, you can click here to get $10 off your next Waterpik purchase! You can also watch the video below to see the Waterpik Hair Wand in action!

Also, I’m not sure if I mentioned this earlier but this thing is soooo easy to install!! It only took me about 10 minutes in my tiny apartment bathroom and the shower head is soooo much bigger than the one that came with the apartment!!

So if you have been looking for a way to completely change the way you rinse your hair in the shower then you should check out the Waterpik Hair Wand for yourself. It really does work y’all and I’m a huge fan!! Thank you again Waterpik for sponsoring today’s blog post!!

Do you struggle getting all of the products out of our hair in the shower??
Have you tried the Waterpik Hair Wand??

I’ve needed this for over 30 years. It takes me so long to wash and rinse my hair, especially to get the conditioner out. Think of all the water I can save with this!

Exactly! Now I don’t feel like a contortionist in the shower bending over all sorts of ways to get the conditioner out of my hair! LOL!

This would be perfect for my home. I love that the hose detaches. This would be perfect for getting to those hard to reach places when rinsing my hair.

My morning shower has to be kept short and a PowerComb would help save time for sure. I think my hair would thank me too!

I hate trying to get conditioner out of my hair. I have to shampoo twice to get through it all. Something that can get it all out with in a minute would be wonderful. I can not wait to give it a try. Plus I love that it is so large.

I like that shower wand but I love the shower rack you have in there. I have a long hair so this would be great to wash out all the shampoo out.

I have short, pixie hair so all I need to do is stand under the water for like 5 seconds. Ha! However, my daughter instantly saw the value in this appliance!

OK this is definitely something I need! My hair is so thick and sometimes, regular water pressure doesn’t clean out all the product so I’m left with lots of residue.
