It’s that time of the week again…time for the Friday Five!! This is honestly one of my favorite posts of the week to write. It’s an easy, random, no pressure post that I think y’all enjoy as much as I do!
If you are new around here then you should know that I reserve Fridays for random things, five random things to be exact. Occasionally there’s a theme but 95% of the time these posts are just random. So let’s quit talking about it and let’s get to it!
ONE. My little sister had a sweet baby boy on Valentine’s Day!! How sweet is that?? I got to go meet him last weekend and y’all. He is so super snuggly and loves to sleep!! I LOVE HIM!!!
TWO. It’s been so rainy and gross here lately and all I have been craving is a big ole bowl of veggie soup so that’s what I made for dinner last night! I also made my own Jalapeno Cheddar Cornbread Muffins and holy moly they are so good! I plan on sharing the full recipe with y’all next week but for now you can enjoy this screenshot I took of them from my IG Stories…HA!
THREE. I have been on a saving money kick this year and I feel really good where I am with that so far and I am super proud of myself!! One way I have cut back on my spending (in order to save) was to cut back on traveling. Traveling is something I really enjoy but I knew that if I could cut back on the number of trips I take for just one year (even small weekend trips) I could save so much money, and I have! However, I got the opportunity to to take a trip to somewhere I have never been before for super cheap and to somewhere that has been on my bucket list for forever and so I’m going!! I am proud to announce that my first, and maybe only???, trip of 2019 is to…
..DISNEY WORLD!!! Since I know absolutely nothing about Disney World trips hit me up with your favorite things to do/see/eat/ride at Disney!!
FOUR. I started watching The Umbrella Academy on Netflix earlier this week and I am obsessed!! Have you seen it??

We just got back from Disney! We’ve been many times over the years and now we take the grandkids. Make sure you grab a Dole Whip while you’re there. They are so good!
