Staying Healthy During the Holidays with Profile by Sanford

This post contains affiliate links.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Profile by Sanford. While I was compensated for this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Yesterday I talked about the first part of my plan for staying healthy during the holidays which mostly focused on the working out aspect of “staying healthy”. However as important as it is to move your booty it is also equally as important to work on healthy eating habits. And this, for me, is where Profile by Sanford comes in!

I have been on the Profile Plan since the last week of August and have lost 27 pounds so far! Now that number could be higher but there’s this little thing called LIFE and I am NOT a perfect person so I have messed up along the way but when you do it right, the plan works.

And despite me being mad at myself (because I only have myself to blame) 27 pounds in 16 weeks is still an amazing feat! Especially for me!! Especially during this time of year!!I lost 20 pounds on my own prior to starting Profile and so I am officially down 47 pounds from my highest weight! I can’t even believe I am typing that because that is a crazy number to me! I have never, in my life, lost that much weight and honestly never thought I could do it but here I am. Living proof that if I can do it YOU CAN TOO.

My goal for this week is to lose 3 more pounds so I can say that I’m down 50 pounds. You hear that Chelsey?? It’s on the blog now so I can’t take that back! HA!

Chelsey is my coach at Profile and is the person I confess all my food sins too. She’s also my hype girl and makes me believe I can do anything I set my mind to on a weekly basis. She also keeps me in check and never judges even when I tell her about ALL the bad foods I ate. Chelsey is also on the plan so she knows all of the things and gives me lots of hacks to keep me going. So if you something tagged #ChelseyHack later in this post you know where it came from!

So how is Profile going to help me stay healthy during the holidays? I am going to follow my plan to the best of my ability and I am going to lose weight instead of gain weight this year.

I feel like every time I post about Profile I always get asked what I eat, what foods are allowed on the plan and if it’s any good. Well, obviously it’s good or I would have quit a long time ago and it works because I am living proof of that! So now let’s talk about my favorite foods on the Profile plan and what I eat in a day!

First up is my morning coffee. I usually wake up and take Sophie outside. We either go to the park and do our hour walk or  I walk her to the mail box and then I go to the gym. I do much better when I work out on an empty stomach and so I just chug tons of water while I get my cardio on. When I get home it’s coffee time!

My first #ChelseyHack is using my profile shakes as coffee creamer. I was just drinking a plain shake (BORING!) and then drinking my coffee and then more water and y’all, that’s just a LOT of liquid! I went to Profile one morning after getting off work and saw her mixing the two and have been doing it ever since. Protein coffee for the win!!

I like to mix and match my k-cups and protein shakes to find fun flavor combinations and this is one of my favorites…Maple Pecan Profile Shake and Buttery Caramel k-cup. It is super smooth and creamy and tastes like a fancy latte. I also love mixing the new Gingerbread Profile Shake with a Buttery Caramel k-cup! DELISH!

After I’ve had my protein coffee while I’m getting ready for work, I leave the house, drive to work and do work things. I eat my biggest meal of the day around 9pm and for this I usually have 2 cups of cooked veggies and some sort of chicken. I have been making a lot of soup lately and those can totally be Profile compliant. On the day I was taking pics for this post I made some garlic herb chicken in my crock pot and threw some green beans on top. It was soooooo good and I completely forget to take a pic. Sorry guys!! Trust me though, it was GOOD!

An hour or two later I have dessert which lately has been the Profile Chocolate Brownie Shake mixed like a pudding and fat free whipped cream. It is seriously amazing and legit tastes like a cheat meal and is another #ChelseyHack HA!

Around midnight I am in dire need of caffeine so I drink my Profile Fiber drink (tastes like fruit punch and has a water like texture, NOT THICK at all!!) and mix it with some Spark. YUM!!

After I drink my fiber/Spark I need a snack so I eat my Profile Protein Chips and guacamole! #ChelseyHack If you know me at all then you know I am the self proclaimed Condiment Queen. I love dips and dressings and chips and salsa/guac are LIFE. I like the Profile Protein Chips just fine on their own but my life was changed when Chelsey told me I could dip the cheddar ones in salsa or guac. That hack has seriously saved me. I also found the perfect size mini Wholly Guacamoles at Sam’s Club that are perfect for dipping my chips in! And here’s a #RicciHack for you, you can freeze those guacamole cups and throw them in your lunch bag to thaw out and they last longer than the expiration date! Mind = blown!

Around 2 or 3 I eat my other real food meal which is usually two cups of cucumbers or other raw veggie with some fat free Italian dressing (zero calories!!) and a Profile Cheesy Fiesta Pasta. The only thing I can think to compare this to is Easy Mac and it’s like the taco version of that. It tastes better than it looks, I promise! I may have also put too much water in this one…oops!

After this meal I normally don’t eat again until I get home but on this night my throat was hurting something fierce so I busted out my Profile Creamy Chicken Soup and ate it right before I went home. It looks weird but tastes like Ramen Noodles, minus to noodles. It’s one of my favorite things ever!!

And that, my friends is what I eat in a day on the Profile by Sanford Plan! I feel like I am constantly eating or drinking something and that keeps me both busy and full! I also love the way everything tastes because if I didn’t I would have given up on this plan a looong time ago. Just keeping it real.

So if you have been looking for a way to keep your eating habits in check over the holidays or maybe you’re even looking for something to do for your New Year’s Resolutions I highly suggest you look into Profile by Sanford!! If I can can do it YOU CAN TOO!!

You look wonderful! It’s nice to have a plan like that to help you reach a goal. And I really think you need to live a little! I don’t think that enjoying some splurges is a failure – I think slow and steady wins the race and you need to be happy and satisfied to reach your goals. You always have a great smile and it looks like you’re enjoying the process.

Holidays means so much of get-togethers and of course a lot of eating sessions. Haha! I guess I would really need to make a plan then. I admire you! Congratulations on such milestone.
