Happy Monday!! I thought I would start this week off right and tell you about a new weight loss program I’ve been talking about a lot on social media, Profile by Sanford! If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you have probably seen me post about Profile and you probably know that I lost 9.2 pounds in my first week on the program!! Right after I posted that my inbox got SLAMMED with emails wanting to know more about it so today I’m going to do just that because let’s be real, if I can do it then you can too!! Promise!!
First things first, WHAT is Profile by Sanford?? Profile by Sanford is a weight loss program that is broken down into three categories…nutrition, activity and lifestyle changes with the help of one-on-one coaching. If you are anything like me you can get one thing down but need help with the others and that’s where Profile comes in! When you join Profile you meet with a coach once a week who makes a life plan (that’s what I call it) for you and gives you a schedule of when you eat, what you eat and how many minutes a day you need to move your body. And y’all that is exactly what I need!! I live for schedules and plans and marking things off a list and so this works for me!!
The first time you meet your coach you will go over a complete medical history with him/her, get weighed and measured (more on this later), get your plan that is formulated for YOU, buy your food, make your appointment for the next week (SO IMPORTANT) and then the rest is up to you. You have to follow the plan in order to get the results.
So when you join Profile you pay a one time fee (the September special is ONE THIRD of the normal price y’all!!) and for that fee you get to meet with a coach once a week, a discount on the food and you get the wifi scale. The wifi scale just may be my favorite part of Profile. I don’t know about you but I have done other “diet” programs before and the part I hated the most about them was weighing myself in front of others. It seems like the weigh times were always at the end of my day after I had been eating and drinking all day and they were always in front of a ton of other people…talk about discouraging. Ugh.
With Profile your initial weight is taken at the center and only in front of your coach. All of your other weights are taken in the privacy of your own home and you can do them first thing in the morning naked if you want (which I highly recommend!!). The scale then syncs with the Profile App on your phone and then the next time you go to the center to meet with you coach he/she can pull it up right then and there and see everything. It’s so nice!!! And not only does the scale measure your weight it also measures your body fat %, hydration %, BMI, lean muscle, bone density, etc so you can see exactly what numbers are moving and in what direction. So say one month you didn’t lose any weight but your lean muscle went up and your body fat % went down…that is still a WIN!!!
Now let’s talk about the food. On the Profile by Sanford plan you eat regular food as well as take meal replacements. I know most of you out there are thinking UGHHHHH, meal replacements??? But let me tell you something, I have been thoroughly impressed by the shakes and soups I have tried so far. I also like that there is more than one way to drink/eat them because I like a little variety in my life and drinking the same shake in water everyday isn’t going to cut it with me.
The first way to drink your shake is to mix it with 8oz of water and drink it like a shake…
…this is the easiest and most convenient way and how I drink most of my shakes.
You can also mix them with your morning (afternoon, evening, whenever) coffee and make it a “latte”…
…this was my version of the Pumpkin Spice Latte and is was delicious! I also like to mix the Salted Caramel Shake with my caramel coffee and the Chocolate Mint Shake with my plain coffee. They are SO GOOD this way!! This is what I usually have for breakfast.
You can also mix the shake with 4oz of water and it has a pudding like consistency…
…and the Banana Cream Pie shake mixed like a pudding legit tastes like Banana Pudding!! YUM! I usually do this as a snack midway through my day.
And if you are anything like me and are feeling a little more salty then you can do the protein soups instead of shakes. This Creamy Chicken Soup tastes like the chicken ramen noodles minus the noodles. I LOVE ramen noodles so I LOVE this soup. I think it saved me my first week because I was craving salty things something fierce!!
Profile also carries several snack options like bars and chips that you can eat to get your carbs. I am NOT a bars person so I stick with the chips. Again, they help me get my saltiness in and have a nice crunch! I didn’t get a pic of them because I ate them all…oops! But for the record the Honey Mustard Chips are my FAVE!! They remind me of those honey mustard pretzels I used to eat all the time!! So GOOD!!
In addition to the real food, meal replacements, bars and chips Profile also encourages you to drink fiber! I have tried fiber drinks in the past and they were YUCKY but this fiber is super smooth, not thick and tastes good!! I get the Fruit Punch flavor and mix it with my Fruit Punch Spark and it is AMAZE! And yes, Profile doesn’t mind me mixing their fiber with Advocare’s Spark and they encourage the consumption of caffeine! YAS!
As for exercise aka moving your body, every person is different. Right now my goal is 25 minutes a day. Most days I walk but sometimes I go to the gym and do the elliptical, bike, rowing machine, etc something. It doesn’t matter what I do as long as I get my heart rate up and move for 25 minutes a day. I’m sure that will increase over time but now that works for me!
And so, that my friends is the gist of the Profile by Sanford program! Nutrition, Activity and Lifestyle changes with the help of one-on-one coaching! If you are in central Arkansas then call up the Little Rock store and make an appointment for your free consultation! If you are outside of central Arkansas check out this link to find the closest Profile to you and if there isn’t one within driving distance you can always do virtual/online coaching! I lost 9.2lbs in my first week and I can’t wait to see what week two brings!!
And if you do decide to go for a consult, tell them I sent you!!
Have you heard of Profile by Sanford??

Congrats on your loss so far – wow! I love so many things about this program – all the different ways you can drink/eat your shakes and most of all, the WIFI scale! I, too, always headed those programs where you had to weigh in the evening fully clothed. I also love that you can choose the online coaching.

I also have been trying to lose weight and to do this I have been walking and using a product from Young Living Essential Oils but because I don’t have anyone doing it with me I keep getting off track. Because like you I need a list but not only that a partner to hold me accountable so I will see if this program is in Fort Worth as I haven’t heard of it.

Congrats on your weight loss so far Ricci. I am so happy that you are doing this on a sustainable pace especially with 25 mins of exercise. People often quit because right at the beginning they want to do way too much. Way to go and I wish you all the best!
