Three posts in one week. WHO AM I?? HA! So it’s Friday and you know what that means…time for the Friday Five!! If you are new around here then you should know that I reserve most Fridays to talk about random things, five random things to be exact. Some weeks have a theme but most are just random, like this week! So let’s get to it…
ONE. I recently talked about my Mindy Kaling obsession after binging all 6 seasons of The Mindy Project in two weeks. Should I be ashamed I finished it so quickly? Maybe. Am I? NOPE! I was going through some Mindy withdrawals when I was on Amazon and decided to order not one but BOTH of her books. I’m already finished with Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? and I’m going to start Why Not Me? this weekend. The obsession is REAL y’all. Mindy I LOVE YOU!!!
TWO. Remember this kimono I posted about last fall in my “What I’m Wearing – Kimono Edition” post?? Well believe it or not I was browsing the Torrid website earlier and IT’S BACK!!! Torrid is having a sale but if this kimono is all you want then sign up for their email list and you will get a 20% off coupon!! You’re welcome.
THREE. When I was in Seattle I was suffering from mild severe sleep deprevation and the bags under my eyes held onto every single minute I didn’t sleep. Ugh. So when Rebekah and I went to Nordstrom and a lady at the Trish McEvoy counter asked if I wanted to try this new-ish eyelift in a bottle and I was all YES PLEASE. At that point I needed every bit of help I could get and honestly, I was skeptical. I didn’t think anything could help those bags. It was bad y’all. The selfie I’m about to post was taken Saturday morning and I had slept all of 5 hours after being awake for 30+ hours the day before. Sleep was just NOT happening for whatever reason. And if you don’t think those bags and dark circles are anything to talk jus know I tried to cover them up with massive amounts of concealer and powder.
Back to Nordstrom…the sweet lady wiped off my sad attempt at covering those bad boys up, patted on this amazing Beauty Booster Eye Serum and finished it off with this Instant Eye Lift (and a finishing powder) and it made a world of difference. Yes, the serum is expensive as hell but you only need a drop or two a day so to me it’s worth it. I have been using it twice daily since Valentines Day and I can already tell a difference. I need to do a full blog post on it soon.
FOUR. If you are as monogram shirt obsessed as I am then you have to check out these shirts!! I found the shop 2 weeks ago and ordered a couple of shirt for $7.99 each and they came in super quick and I am obsessed with them! The shirts are thick and the master circle monogram is officially my fave monogram font. They also come in tons of colors and have a couple different font.options. Last week I got a red shirt with white monogram and a purple shirt with gold monogram. I may or may not have ordered two more this morning! LOL!!
FIVE. I don’t even think I have a number five this week…I had a crazy night at work last night, my back is sore and my bed is calling my name!! Night y’all!!
And that concludes this week’s Friday Five. I hope you had a great week and are going to have an even better weekend!!
Happy Friday!!
