Boost Your Skin’s Health with Probulin Probiotic Skin Therapy

Probiotics. I think it’s safe to say that unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years you have heard of probiotics. We all know how essential probiotics are for gut health (when taken internally) but have you ever thought about what probiotics can do for your skin health? Yes, skin health is a thing and it’s super important. Did you know that your skin contains it’s own special and complex ecosystem of good and bad bacteria (much like your gut!) and using an external probiotic, like Probulin Probiotic Skin Therapy, can help to boost your skin’s overall health? Yassss girl, YAS!

So how does a probiotic work on your skin?? Good question!

First of all let’s assume you are already taking an amazing digestive probiotic. That digestive probiotic will help to build up your gut health from the inside by supporting your digestive tract and helping to balance out the good and bad bacteria. Once your gut is under control you should start using an external probiotic, like Probulin Probiotic Skin Therapy, to help boost your skin’s health.

Your skin is covered in bacteria, both good and bad. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s part of what makes you YOU! When you start using a probiotic skincare line you are helping your skin maintain it’s natural balance of both good and bacteria which will, in turn, will help to protect you against skin inflammation and other skin conditions.

So that’s all good and dandy but does it work?? What does it feel like?? Does it have a funny smell?? Can you tell a difference?? These are all questions I got asked when I was telling my friends about using Probulin Probiotic Skin Therapy products and I am here to share all the gory details with you…HA! It’s not actually gory, although I feel like I should apologize up front about my naked face selfie. I swear I still haven’t caught up on sleep since I went to Seattle and flipping back between days and nights has the bags under my eyes looking ridiculous. I promise my skin really does feel better even if it looks a little tired…LOL! #ThisIs35

This is what I’m working with people…

…and these are the products I have been using. First up let’s talk about this Probiotic Facial Cleansing Gel. This cleansing gel is a gentle daily cleanser that contains Sugar Cane Extract, Maple Sugar Extract, Citrus Aurantium Fruit Extract and Lemon Fruit Extract. It is lightly scented with lavender and citrus essential oils and includes scientifically tested ProbuSkin™ beneficial probiotic lysate. The lysate probiotic has been shown to support skin conditioning, healthier looking skin, improve skin’s texture and moisturization and support the protective lipid barrier. This is not a harsh cleanser at all. I used this product twice a day, in the mornings when I get up and at night after I have taken my makeup off.

The next product I used is the Probiotic Facial Serum. If you know me at all then you know I have a newfound obsession with facial serums. This serum is unscented and contains aloe vera gel and maple sugar with powerful fruit extracts. It also contains the same probiotic lysate as the cleansing gel. This serum is super smooth and glossy and leaves my skin feeling so smooth! I love it!

The final step in my probiotic skincare routine is moisturizer/cream! I will preach until the day I die the importance of moisturizer. A lot of people skip this step because they think they don’t need it but moisturizing is so important to anti-aging!! And yes, there is a difference in day and night creams. This Probiotic Day Cream has the same probiotic lysate as the other products as well as jojoba esters, aloe vera gel, maple sugar powerful fruit extracts and Bilberry (Vaccinium Myrtillus). It is unscented and it pretty light on my skin, which I LOVE, but I can still tell it’s there and it’s doing it’s job.

The Probiotic Night Cream has the same probiotic lysate as the other products as well as shea butter and marula oil. It is scented with lavender and chamomile and has a very light scent. Again, it’s not super heavy feeling and I love the texture of this night cream!! I also LOVE marula oil and was super excited to see it as an active ingredient in this product!

So now on to the questions…does it work?? I think so! After a solid two weeks of using these products I can feel a difference in the texture of my skin. It also feels softer and I haven’t broken out. What does it feel like?? Honestly it feels like most other skincare products out there but a lot smoother?? Does it have a funny smell?? Nope! Most products are scent free or if they do have a scent it’s super light. Can you tell a difference?? I think so! I think that my skin feels smoother and is definitely less irritated.

WillI keep using these products?? Of course! I can’t wait to see how my skin looks after a month of using them if I’m already loving them after two weeks!

Thank you Probulin for sending me these amazing probiotic skincare products!!

Have you tried Probulin Probiotic Skin Therapy products??

Oh cool! I feel so much better now that I’ve started taking a probiotic for my gut, so I would love to try this and see if it works as well for the skin. I had no idea skin could even benefit from probiotics!

I’ve never heard of probiotics for the skin. I take a daily probiotic for my tummy but this is the first I’m hearing of a probiotic for external use. Interesting. I am loving the ingredients: aloe vera gel and maple sugar, lavender and chamomile, soothing combinations.

I’ve been aware that probiotics are vital for gut health, but not for our skin too! I really learned something about our skin and the importance of using an external probiotic, like Probulin Probiotic Skin Therapy!

I think it is pretty cool there are probiotic skincare lines now! At least this one anyway. My family has used probiotics for a very long time – before they became mainstream and I can say they are LIFESAVERS! It would be silly not to give probiotic skincare a try! I will too!

Like many here I take a probiotic for my stomach and didn’t realize that you could use this on your skin. I will look for this actually. Always trying so many different products for skin and beauty here.

I never knew that they could use probiotics for skin therapy but it makes a lot of sense. I will have to check into this as with aging my skin needs all of the help it can get lately.

I am also of the age where I need a serum. Sigh. This sounds like it would be perfect for my dry skin. I’m going to check it out.
