30 Day Clarisonic Challenge UPDATE

This post contains affiliate links.

It’s finally here. The end of my 30 Day Clarisonic Challenge. If you missed the original post that’s ok, you can check it out here! The just of that post was that I had just finished Lancôme’s 28 Day Peel and wanted to extend those results as long as I could so I decided to start using my Clarisonic every night before bed as a part of my nighttime routine. I took a pic before I started this challenge and I took one after which you will find at the end of this post.

Some people may think that using a Clarisonic every day isn’t good for your skin but luckily the Clarisonic was built just for that. I have the Mia 1, which I am obsessed with, and it only has one universal speed which should work well for most skin types. At some point I would love to upgrade to the Mia 2 or even the Smart Profile if I’m feeling fancy. I would also love to try the Mia Fit…I somehow get water ALL OVER my arms when I use my Mia1 and I feel like the MiaFit may eliminate some of that? I need to look into that.

For the brush heads I alternated using the Sensitive Cleaning Brush Head and the Deep Pore Cleansing Head. I think that of the two I liked the Sensitive head better, it just seemed to get more stuff off? Maybe that was just my imagination but I want to try a others before settling on a true favorite.

Now that I’ve talked your ear off about the Clarisonic let’s talk about how I cleaned my face every night for 30 days and the products I used!!

First I would get all my makeup off my face with a dollop of IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm. This stuff is super lightweight and gets even the most stubborn of my mascara off. Plus it leaves your face super soft afterward!! One thing you should know about this (and any) cleansing balm is that they are not made of soap so the only thing this does is remove makeup and make your face really soft, you should still wash your face after with soap to really clean it!

Next I use my Clarisonic with a little bit of First Aid Beauty’s Pure Skin Face Cleanser and use it for about a minute all over my face and neck. This makes the soap super lathery and really removes any super stubborn leftover makeup and my face is always squeaky clean post-Clarisonic. Now in my original Clarisonic Challenge post I said I was going to use Rhonda Allison’s Beta Green Tea Face Wash and I did but I ran out halfway through the challenge so I switched to this First Aid Beauty on. Just thought I would add that in there because I don’t want to confuse anyone!!

After all that face washing I use my ride or die Clinique Clarifying Lotion. I use the pink kind and it’s my FAVE!!! I just use it with a plain old cotton ball and it usually comes back pretty clean!!

Next up I will pat my face dry (if I feel anything still on it) and use a little Tarte Maracuja Oil on my face. I think that out of all the facial oils I have used this one is my favorite. It’s lightweight, absorbs pretty fast and doesn’t leave my face greasy feeling. I use this oil all over my face, neck and chest. Gotta keep everything moisturized!!

Finally I put on my moisturizer, which is currently Loreal’s Revitalift Triple Power Deep-Acting Moisturizer. I recently received that as part of an Infuenster VoxBox and have been using it for the past week. So far I am really loving everything about it. It’s a thick moisturizer but I feel like it’s not too heavy and gives good coverage. Plus my skin is staying super hydrated!!

Finally I will apply a little neuLASH to my upper lashes and eyebrows. I just started a 90 Day neuLASH Challenge and I can’t wait to see if this stuff really works!!

A few other products that I have been swapping out are…

…IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Serum or No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum in place of my Tarte Maracuja Oil and I used Garnier’s SkinActive Ultra-Lift Miracle Sleep Cream before I got the Loreal Revitalift. These products are all pretty amazing themselves plus I like to switch out products so that my face doesn’t get used to just one thing.

So all of that being said I guess you want to see if there is a difference in my face? Well here you go…

…here I am in all my naked face glory Monday morning post skincare routine. I can definitely tell a difference in my skin tone. It’s not as blotchy and feels more even. It also just feels cleaner!

Here’s a side by side of the first day I started the challenge and the last…

…keep in mind that I did go to the beach in the middle of all of this so my face is tanner!!

So there you have it folks, my 30 day Clarisonic Challenge is complete!! Will I continue to use it everyday? Maybe! I have kept it up so far but we will see how long that really lasts, HA!!

Stay tuned for my next challenge result…the 14 Day Revitalift Challenge will be up next week and the 90 Day neuLASH Challenge will be up in a couple months!!

Do you use a Clarisonic or other facial brush??
Do you use it every day??

I could really use this. My skin has a lot of imperfections and needs the smoothing effect this is giving you. I have a hard time keeping up with exfoliating without irritating my skin.

It’s amazing to see real results from the Clarisonic. I’ve been wondering about it for awhile and it’s cool to read about an actual experience with it.

I also wish I could tan as easily as you haha!

I have been wanting to try Clarisonic. I love that it has the Sensitive Cleaning Brush Head. My skin is so dry the Tarte Maracuja Oil would be great for me.

I love my facial brush. It just makes my skin so smooth and nice. I don’t know about any other differences. But that is enough for me!

You looked great before, but I do see a difference. I hear you on keeping up with stuff. I am usually all gung ho at the beginning but keeping something up long term can be tough.
