Hello November

This post contains affiliate links.

Hello November!

hellonovember

Only a day late but hey, who’s counting? HA! I totally meant to write this post yesterday but my allergies have been going nuts lately, I literally had the same sinus headache from the time I got to work Monday until I got home that night. I literally got home from work Monday night at 7:30pm, washed my face, took some Benadryl, went to bed at 8pm, and didn’t wake up until 9am yesterday morning. That sleep was much needed friends. Much needed.

So back to this post…how is it already November? I feel like I say that every month but I really mean it this month. November signifies the end of the year. It’s almost Thanksgiving which mean it’s almost Christmas and then almost New Years and then it will be 2017. How is that even possible I ask?!

November is a month of exciting things. Along with Thanksgiving comes the Gilmore Girls Year in the Life which I seriously can not wait for! I am almost caught up with my rewatching of the entire series, I started in August and it has taken a while but it is so so so worth it.

I have a feeling this month is going to be pretty epic.

Although October was pretty epic too. I got to tour Riceland, I went to Lubbock to see Kliff Kingsbury a Texas Tech game, I dressed up like a Ghostbuster for Halloween, and then got to tour the brand new Arkansas Ronald McDonald House! I have a whole post about the Grand Opening which is in a couple weeks and I am so excited about it!!

I also wrote a post about my thoughts on minimalism and told you I was getting rid of my two huge couches and getting a new couch and it is finally here!! My space feels so much bigger and brighter without those huge dark brown couches and in turn that makes me brighter and better. I am so excited and now I can’t wait to sell this house and just get a tiny apartment. One day…

Your living room looks incredible! I love that couch. I’d probably have a panic attack about keeping it clean, but that’s because my animals shed like crazy, ha!!! I am watching the Gilmore Girls because for some reason, I never watched it in the beginning. I’m just now on season 4. It has taken some work, but I plan to power through it and get it finished in time for the new episodes! I’m loving it so far!

I love the minimalist feel. We just put in new floors so that we could sell our house. Time to downsize for the time being. It is a ton of work to deal with the maintenance on the house and yard work. Who has time for that stuff anyhow…lol.

This year has seemed to go by fast but as we age they seem to go by faster for some reason. I am actually so ready for November. It is my birthday next week. December is my favorite month because I love Christmas. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

This whole year has flown by, but I agree October was a blur. I am so sorry your allergies are so bad, that is a miserable feeling. One of my kids also has bad allergies and I hate to see him suffer.
