It’s finally Friday!!! And a holiday weekend!! YAY!!! I have to work but I can still celebrate in my head, right?? HA!!
ONE. Now that it’s September it is practically fall in my book. Yes, it is 90+ degrees outside but you better bet all my fall decor and candles are out in my house!! And with the PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) due out any day now makes it official. Fall is here. One of my most popular recipes on my blog this time of year is my homemade Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer. Now please don’t judge my pitiful pics and horrible formatting, this is one of those “old posts” that needs updating but have no fear, it is good stuff. You can check it out here!!
TWO. While we are on the subject of pumpkin everything you can check out my Pumpkin Bread Recipe and my DIY Pumpkin Facial. You’re welcome in advance…HA!
THREE. Now on to things that aren’t pumpkin related…this time next week I will be in NWA (Northwest Arkansas) attending my first ever Megaphone Summit!! It’s an amazing blog/influencer conference held right here in Arkansas and I can’t wait to go! I also signed up for a photography class while I am there and I can’t wait to learn how to use my DSLR finally!!
FOUR. While I am inFayetteville next week I am getting my brows done at Crown Beauty Bar!! I have stalked their Instagram for some time now and I can’t wait to have them work their magic on my poor, pitiful brows. True story- I was growing out my brows and they were starting to look pretty amaze and then I went to get them “cleaned up” (get rid of all the stray hairs and fix this unibrow) and the girl scalped me!! I barely have any brows left. It’s tragic. Really. So Crown Girls…please help a sister out!!
FIVE. Yesterday’s post was all about women shaving their faces…the why, how, and who’s doing it. I can now proudly say that I have joined that club and it wasn’t bad at all! I just washed my face really good, dried it off, put a little coconut oil on and then went to town! I can honestly say that my face has never felt smoother!! Now I can’t wait to see what the “grow back” period will be like!!
Are you pumpkin obsessed like me??
What’s the last blog conference you went to??

I was just pulling out all my fall decor yesterday. With all the rough weather we’re getting from Hurricane Hermine, it almost feels like fall – at least from the inside looking out.

Yes! It’s that time of year when I can find EVERYTHING in pumpkin! And pumpkin bread and lattes are actually my favorites. I’m also a sucker for pumpkin donuts.

I’m so looking forward to fall! So ready for the hoodies and jeans as well as the PSL!
Jeanette says
I am so excited that pumpkins are coming back in the season. I love pumpkin everything. I have not done pumpkin bread in years I’m going to do that this year.
lisa says
Thank God for Friday! We had our first day of cooler weather yesterday and it was so nice to cool down and wear pants instead of shorts for a day! Back to warmth today and next week though!

I love pumpkin and pumpkin spice but I won’t drink or eat it until it’s officially fall! I hang onto every last bit of summer. When it is time for pumpkin though, I am going to check out that pumpkin spice coffee creamer recipe.
Heather @ Kraus House Mom says
I always feel so left out this time of year because I do not like pumpkin anything. I’ve tried, but I just can’t do it. I would be so afraid if I shaved my face I would end up looking like one of the guys from Duck Dynasty.
Stephanie JEannot says
I would really love to have some of that pumpkin bread. I can’t wait toil pumpkin spice coffee is available at Starbucks. One of my favorites. Yeah! I it truly is the unofficial end of summer. Wow! Where did the time go?

I’m so ready for fall and pumpkin all the things! I think I need to make myself a ps latte…and then go read that intriguing post on shaving.

I LOVE seeing the pumpkins out and about, but in the UK we don’t seem to celebrate as much as you guys in the USA. I’m a bit of a USA store stalker and have to import fall things from Pottery Barn!
Ricci says
You know us Americans, any excuse to celebrate anything!!! HAHAHA!!
Liz Mays says
Oh gosh, I’ve been so focused on apple flavored stuff. I forgot that I can look forward to pumpkin stuff too!

I’ve already started pulling out my Fall decorations and will most likely have them up over the long week. Your pumpkin bread looks amazing!

Tis the season for pumpkin, looking delicious! I love your Friday 7 :)

Please keep me updated on the shaving the face thing. I am very curious to see how fast hair grows back.

I have never been to a blog conference before but hope to real soon. Pumpkin spice anything I have loved since I was a kid. The pumpkin bread is something I am going to have to make homemade this year because I have always bought it at the store. Pumpkin spice creamer is something I always look forward to during the fall months. Thanks for sharing your experiences and thoughts.

I am not a big fan of pumpkin anything but I absolutely love the Fall. Its beautiful colors, the nippy weather, the hoodies and hot cocoa! Wishing you all the best in your Megaphone Summit. I am sure this will be a fun, learning experience for you.

Pumpkins are everywhere at this time of the year. I will be harvesting mine in the garden very soon. I can’t wait.
