March Birchbox

This post contains affiliate links.

Hello March!! Well, Hello to my March Birchbox because it’s a little late to say hello to March itself, LOL! Again, I am just proud to have my box reveal up in the month I got it. HA!

marchbirchbox

This month I chose the featured box instead of the regular, the Ready for Anything box. When you are a member of Birchbox you get a choice to choose from the featured box and a regular box. They cost the same ($10) but you know everything you are getting in the featured box and you usually only know one thing you are getting in the regular box. I have chosen the featured box a few times and have been pleased with my box every month!

Milk Makeup Lip Color / Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream / PARLOR® by Jeff Chastain Smoothing Blowout Spray / Wilma Schumann Skincare Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads / Smashbox Photo Op Eyeshadow Trio

This month I chose my box strictly on the Kiehl’s cream and the eye pads! LOL! I am obsessed with skin care and have been wanting to try the Kiehl’s for a while so this was literally the perfect box for me.

First up is the Milk Makeup Lip Color. I think the formula for this lipstick is amazing. It’s super hydrating and the texture is great but the color I was sent is so not me. It’s a weird orangey/nude color and does nothing for my lips. This is the second time I have gotten weird orange/nude lip stuff from Birchbox and I’m not happy about that.

Next is the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream. Like I said, this was one of the reasons I wanted the featured box this month and I can gladly say that this product did NOT disappoint. I love skincare and moisturizers and this is the perfect night cream for this transition from winter to spring that we are experiencing right now. It’s thick but not heavy. I love this product!!!

PARLOR® by Jeff Chastain Smoothing Blowout Spray. I have tried a few Parlor products in my last couple of Birchboxes and I have been pleased with them so far. I really wanted to like this Blowout Spray but I have another that I am obsessed with and think I will just stick with that one. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this product, I just really like my other one better.

The Wilma Schumann Skincare Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads were the other reason I chose tho box and I have to say that they are creepily amazing!! They have a weird texture at first, they kind of feel like jelly??, but they work oh so well!! I used them while I took a bubble bath one night and I am kind of obsessed with them now!!

I have to say that I really wanted to love this Smashbox Photo Op Eyeshadow Trio but the colors I got were just not me. I got a set of brown eyeshadows and I really wanted the violets. I probably won’t use these but I really do love the formula. They are so creamy and o on so smooth!!

Do you Birchbox??

I am really on the fence about subscribing. We are moving this summer and I just DON’T need more stuff. But I’m also addicted to skincare!!

I usually see products in the Birch Boxes that I would use, I’m not much of a girly girl. Honestly I wasn’t really sure what the majority of these products were. This would be a great box for women like me to discover these beauty “essentials”.

Kiehls is one of my go to skincare brands. I haven’t received a Birchbox in a long time. I used to love seeing them in my mailbox each month!
