Last month I posted about my favorite dry shampoos and the Living Proof Dry Shampoo has since become my go-to every morning and evening. Not only does it smell amazing and not make my hair all gritty, it really works!!
Since then I have wanted to try more products from the Living Proof line and I got the chance when I bought The Ultimate Blowout Kit from Ulta during their Black Friday Sale!
Here is my haul from that sale, I will talk about the other things I got as I try them…
I have used the Living Proof Ultimate Blowout Duo religiously since I bought them, and especially after I cut my hair short in late December. The kit comes with two products, Control Hairspray and Blowout.
The Control Hairspray is what it is, a hairspray that is supposed to be firm holding (I find it more of a flexible hold) amazing smelling hairspray. I really like it but the kicker is Blowout. This tiny little bottle has lasted me well over a month and I use it every time I dry my hair, so about 2-3 times a week. This little gem is a fine mist that you spray right on the roots of your hair that will cut your drying time in half if not more. It also helps set and shape your style. You can use it on wet or dry hair if you need a little refresh on day 2 or 3 of dirty hair. It is a lifesaver!!
The trial size kit that I got is only available at Ulta and is only $10 which I am calling a WIN in my book because you just can’t beat that price for both products!!

I have never heard of this product. I don;t actually ever blow dry my hair (I know I’m weird), but my friend would love this product.
There is nothing better than getting out of the shower in the winter and blow drying the entire bathroom warm! I spend a good amount of time blow drying my hair, so this is something I could see myself using. I love fancy products like this that don’t cost endless money.
First of all–what a steal! Sometimes when I dry my hair it lacks shape, so I might have to try Blowout!
This is awesome! I love a good blow out, but I certainly don’t have the money to get them done frequently. And you certainly can’t be that price for the travel size. Thanks for sharing.
I would love to try these products. I am trying to get better at blow drying my hair without it turning into a frizzy mess. And I use a lot of hairspray that is strong and holds, but it has a nasty smell to it. You said this one smells nice, so that would be a nice change for me.
Thanks for the review. I have not tried any of those products yet, but I will check them out. I have always kept my hair short for manageability, but if these products stand true to their promise, I might think of growing my hair longer.

I haven’t tried any of those products yet. I haven’t used hairspray for years now. I would love to try those products.
I don’t go to the salon very often so I’m not familiar with all the new lingo like blow outs. I’m assuming it’s just a fancy way of styling your hair whIle you are drying it. I was thinking about cutting my hair shorter to make it easier to style.

I have curly hair now and I am so scared to straighten it. Before I went curly I used to blow it out all the time…now I am scared I will lose my curl pattern. Will you be able to show us a before and after picture in the future?

How resourceful is this! This is so amazing and interesting and definitely a must try for at home hair styling. The salon charges a fortune for these things.
These Living Proof products sounds amazing. I have never heard of Living Proof products but they sound like something I would love to try for sure. The hair spray sound interesting and I need a hair spray that is has hold good but that gives my hair flexibility.
