Vegas Recap – Day One + {Maroon 5 Concert}

It’s time pretty people!! Time for what?? Time for part one of my New Year’s Eve/Vegas trip recap!! I was going to try and put it all in one post but I have SO MANY PICTURES!! HA!!

So anyway, I guess the trip actually started December 30 when I got off work and Rebekah met me to get manicures and we decided to drive to Dallas that night to catch our flight. The original plan was to stay at my house and then drive the four hours the next morning but we were completely wired so decided to drive that night.

The plus side to driving that night was getting to sleep in the next morning!! Genius idea!! We we slept in, got fancy, and then drove to DFW. I was a little bit hyped up on Spark and adrenaline…

At the airport we both for frisked and needed a drink after that so Bloody Mary’s at TGIFriday’s it was!! YUM!!

After that we boarded the plane…

…and flew to VEGAS BABY!!!

We checked into our hotel and got ready for the concert…

…Jenn got there and then we were off!!!

We headed out to the strip looking for something to eat and casually strolled by the Eiffel Tower…

…I will totally go to Paris one day!! Ugh.

We decided to eat at Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant in Planet Hollywood, BurGR and it was fabulous!!

After that we walked around the strip a little bit and then made our way down to the Mandalay Bay for THE New Year’s Eve concert of the night…MAROON 5!!!!

The concert was PACKED and we had floor seats so we were feeling pretty fancy…

…and then the music started and I basically lost my mind. I didn’t take too many pics but here are my favorites!!

After the concert we stood in the longest line ever for water and I paid a ridiculous $5 a bottle for some Fiji Water. Ugh…but I was soooo thirsty so it was worth it. I think. Like they say, when in Vegas…

We made our way back the our hotel after that and watched the fireworks along the strip. What an amazing show, both the concert and the fireworks. By the time we got back to our room it was 2am central time and I was beat!!

To be continued…

Have you ever been to Vegas??
What was your favorite thing to do/see while you were there??

I love your animated faces! Actually I loved Vegas…I went for the 1st time in August! I loved visiting the Bellagio hotel lobby…like that was stunning. Vegas is so trippy because every hotel has a different mall like quality…its like one big party in each hotel!
