Welcome to another edition of What I’m Loving Wednesday! Today we are talking about one of my new fave moisturizers…Garnier Moisture Renewal Refreshing Gel-Cream.
I shared this picture last week and some people asked about the moisturizer so this week I though I would share my thoughts on it!
There are actually two different formulas for this moisturizer, one for dry skin (the one I have) and one for normal/combo skin. I decided to try the dry skin formula because of winter. I got it on a super sale at Ulta and finished using my usual moisturizer before I started this one.
I have shared on here before that I only like gel moisturizers because the lotion formulas are too heavy for me. I don’t like anything heavy on my face at all. Yuck.
This moisturizer is definitely light but it works very well too. It doesn’t take much to cover my whole face and neck. It’s made from antioxidant fruit waters that help defend skin from external aggressors while vitamin E soothes and conditions.
So basically it works well and smells amazing!! I have been washing my face with my oil cleanser at night and then moisturizing with this every morning and my face feels amazing!! I love Garnier products!
This moisturizer actually reminds me of Clinique’s Moisture Surge Moisturizer but at a fraction of the price. Woohoo!!

I’ve been searching for a new moisturizer that doesn’t break the bank so I’m glad you posted this today. I’ve never tried a gel before. I also have dry skin. Can hardly wait to try it. Thanks, Ricci!

I’m always on the hunt for moisturizer because this cold winter is drying up my skin. I need to try out the Garnier moisturizer.
I have not tried this, gel moisturizers do not moisturize enough for me. I want to try that cleansing oil, though. I use Pond’s or coconut oil to moisturize, sometimes Mary Kay Nighttime Emollient.
I’ve never tried a gel cleanser, but this looks really awesome! I’ll have to go pick it up!
I need to find a good moisturizer– I’m going to have to check this out.
I use this one – though the green version – and love it. It doesn’t weigh my face down or feel greasy at all.
