Yesterday I shared with you the top 10 things I learned at BBC. Today I am sharing my actual experience and the more social aspect of the trip.
It all started last Wednesday when Rebekah came to stay the night with me so we could get up early the next morning and leave. We had yummy Pei Wei for dinner and watched a movie and went to bed early. I was planning on packing that night but that never happened. OOPS!
We woke up at the crack of dawn on Thursday, I packed, we loaded the car up, and we left! First we had to take sweet Sophie to the vet to board for the long weekend. Poor puppy thought she was going on the trip too.
After dropping my sweet puppy off we were off!! We stopped at Chick-fil-a and got chicken minis (YUM) and headed out of town. We got about an hour away from the house when I realized that in my mad dash to pack I had forgotten my business cards!!! Who does that???!! Me apparently…HA! Instead of turning around to go back and get them sweet Allison offered to have them printed locally if I emailed her my design. Now that’s a true friend.
We drove for 8 hours on Thursday driving through Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia.
Once we got to Georgia we met up with Jenn in Atlanta and stayed the night! We went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and we met Shaq!! We are awesome….LOL!
Friday morning we got up early and ate an amazing continental breakfast at our hotel and headed to Dry Bar!! None of us had ever been to Dry Bar before but if you like mimosas and getting blowouts while watching Bridesmaids this is you place!
After Dry Bar we were officially on the road to Bloggy Boot Camp!! We went through South Carolina (sorry SC I could not for the life of me get a pic of your sign. I tried twice!) and finally into North Carolina!! It took us 3 hours to reach our hotel from Atlanta and we got there right as Allie and Allison did!!
Yes, we were the screaming mess of girls in the lobby in monogrammed shirts and yoga pants.
After we got settle in our rooms (right across the hall of course) we made a little trip to Target and crazy Siri got us almost there and then told us to “Get out and walk the rest of the way”. Um excuse me Siri, are you on crack??
We finally made it back to the hotel and got all gussied up for the Collective Bias cocktail party that night. I think we dress up pretty nice…
We also me up with Emily and Lori at the cocktail party. Sorry Lori I didn’t get a pic with you!!
At the party Tiffany Romero greeted us at the door!! I was STARSTRUCK!!! She even hugged me and told me she knew who I was!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!
After the party we went out to eat at Harpers and I had this yummy pasta…
After eating it as super late and we went back to the hotel to crash. We were all super excited because Saturday meant BBC was actually going to happen!!! Not gonna lie, It was hard to go to sleep that night!!
To be continued…

A road trip with not one but two of your bloggy friends PLUS meeting up with more bloggy friends at the hotel, sounds awesome! Looks like you had a great start to the weekend. Can’t wait to read more!
