It seems like I have been on a bit of a skincare kick lately and I can honestly say that I’m not too mad about it. Recently I have blogged about my experience with the Lancôme 28 Day Peel, a Clarisonic Challenge I completed and my summer skincare essentials. Today I am here to talk about yet another challenge I took recently…the Loreal Revitalift 14 Day Challenge!
I received a full size jar of Loreal’s Revitalift Triple Power Deep Acting Moisturizer from Influenster a couple of weeks ago and decided to take the challenge. I took photos on day 1, 7 and 14 so you can see my progress. I also posted them on my Instagram so if you follow me on there you may have already seen these, sorry in advance!
According to the Loreal website this powerful, luxurious moisturizer goes beyond a simple anti-aging cream to address 3 dimensions that visibly age skin: 1. Repair Wrinkles 2. Refirm Contours 3. Redensify Skin. Most people will start to see results in as little as one week and max results will be seen at four weeks. This particular challenge was to use the product twice a day for 14 days and take photos. So here we go…
…here was day 1!
My first thoughts on this product were that the formula was really heavy. I usually use a heavy moisturizer at night and a lighter, gel formula during the day time under my makeup. The first night I used the moisturizer I really loved it. Yes, it was heavy but I felt like it absorbed pretty fast and my face didn’t feel greasy. The next morning I was a little nervous about using it during the day but I did just fine with it.
Here is day 7…
…the first thing I notice about this picture in comparison to the first is that my crow’s feet seem more diminished? Maybe that’s just hopeful thinking but I think they are a little less noticeable! I had also gotten used to using the heavier moisturizer during the day and I am really liking it!
And here I am on day 14…
…on day 14 I can definitely tell that my crow’s feet are more diminished and my ender eye are looks a lot better!!
Here is a comparison shot of day 1 and day 14…
…I really wish I hand’t tilted my head so much in the day 14 photo but oh well! It is what it is. I think there is a noticeable difference in the two photos and I can definitely tell you that I will keep it up, at night anyway. I will probably switch back to my gel moisturizer during the day, it has been super hot and gross outside and I have been super sweaty…gross!!
So my overall opinion of Loreal’s Revitalift Triple Action Deep Action Moisturizer is that it actually works. It does what it says and is worth every cent spent on it. Grab some for yourself and try it today!!
