Happy Friday!! I am super excited for this weekend because I am off work with ZERO plans!! Woohoo!! This will be my first lazy weekend in a few months and I’m a little bit excited if you can’t tell…HA!
Since it’s Friday you know what that means, it’s time for the Friday Five!! If you are new around here then you should know that on Fridays I talk about five random things, occasionally there is a theme but most weeks it’s completely random. This week is no different and it’s random. So let’s quit talking about it and get to it!
ONE. Y’all know how much I LOVE to read and chick lit is my jam so you know I was PUMPED to learn that Candace Bushnell had a new book dropping this month. If you don’t know who Candace Bushnell is think Sex and the City. That’s right, the author of SATC has a new book out and it’s appropriately titled, Is There Still Sex and the City. I got it last week and haven’t started it yet. Maybe I will get to it this weekend??
TWO. I need a new show to watch! Hit me up with all of you Netflix of Amazon Prime recs please!!!
THREE. I know I promised you a full blog post with a perioral dermatitis update and that is coming but until then I wanted to share with you this little tub of pure soothing GOLD. Let me introduce you to Eczema Honey…
Eczema Honey is a cream you store in the fridge that contains natural ingredients like honey and beeswax that act as a barrier for your skin while actually helping the healing process. If you know anything about perioral dermatitis then you know how irritated the skin can get and this will help me out soooo much during my next flare up. Until then I have been using it on the area around my nose (where my flare up s always start) on the daily because it’s been super irritated (hello seasonal allergies during the summer, ugh) and it has already helped with soothing my skin.
I was gifted this product but all opinions are my own!
FOUR. I saw Hobbs and Shaw last week and I was surprised at how much I loved it! I haven’t seen any of the Fast and Furious movies since the third one (I think?!) and I was worried I wouldn’t know what was going on but then I realized it was a spinoff so I was good! If you love the Rock and need a funny movie in your life then go watch Hobbs and Shaw!!
FIVE. I was on Facebook the other day and the pic on the left popped up on my memories from 2017. I just happened to be on my way home from an OrangeTheory class when I saw it so I took a pic when I got home to compare the two and HOLY MOLY. There is only a 50 pound difference between the two pics (which, if I’m being honest, is a huge amount for me since I suck at losing weight) but it’s more than just the physical differences. I am in such a better place than I was when I took that pic on the left. I am so much happier, I actually work out and move my body, and I just feel so much better overall. This pic actually motivated me to clean up my diet so hopefully I can back on the losing weight track soon!!
Well that’s it for me. I hope you have a fabulous Friday and an even better weekend!!!

I’ve been meaning to watch the Sex and the City show but just have not gotten around to it; I will have to try to do so and then check out that new book! Hobbs and Shaw was such a great movie — we loved it! Also, you look amazing ♥
