Remember on Friday’s blog post when I talked about being off work all weekend and not having any plans and wanting to be a lazy bum ll weekend?? Well that didn’t exactly happen, I did do some fun things but most importantly I got COZY AF. I got myself a new robe, new slippers, new leggings and a super fuzzy blanket and took some pretty epic naps. Overall I would say I had a pretty awesome weekend.
On Friday morning when I got off work I got my hair cut! I chopped off all the blonde ends and went back dark. It’s pretty short (for me) but I can still pull it back in a ponytail and it just feels so much healthier! I think the blonde fried it over time and my head just feels lighter. I am seriously loving it!
Friday night I went to the Miss UCA (University of Central Arkansas) pageant to watch a co-worker’s daughter compete and I got so many questions about the cardigan I wore-

…it’s from Chic Soul and here is a screen shot from their website so you can see the whole thing. It’s super warm and it has pockets! I also find that it runs pretty true to size. It comes in mocha (the one I’m wearing, mostly brown) and taupe (just like mine but the main color is a cream/white).

Here is another look at my haircut from Sunday aka the next day that I left my house. I seriously love how easy it is to wash and how quick it is to style!!

OK, ok enough about my hair. HA! But if you are looking for some comfy/cozy cardis and vest then you have to check out the ones I mentioned above. They kept me warm when it was freezing cold outside this weekend.
And speaking of comfy/cozy I went Sam’s Club with a friend on Saturday and walked away with one of the coziest blankets I have ever seen!! It was only $14.98 and it’s HUGE! It also comes in a lot of different colors so there is one for every decorating style. I got the cream/white one with a taupe/brown border and it looks super cute on my couch!
The only downside is that I took a nap in black leggings and a black tee and woke up covered in cream/white fuzzies…LOL!!
And as you can see, Sophie is a huge fan of our new blanket as well!! I may have to fight her for it…LOL!!
And as I mentioned earlier in this post I grabbed a new pair of house shoes while I was out and about this weekend. Ever since I moved into my apartment I have just been wearing a pair of flip flops around my house but my feet have gotten COLD so I knew I needed a pair of real house shoes and these are super cute as well as super cozy so I call that a WIN!!
I mean…sequins and fur? YES PLEASE!!! Plus they are under $25!!

Loving your new hair and I bet you do as well. All the warm and comfortable, luxury items you go are wonderful. Love to spend a day curled up in them watching tv or reading a book.

I am all about lazy weekends, especially when it is cold out.
I think I need a blanket LOL. It looks so warm and fluffy. You did a great job of relaxing of the weekend. If I can go to the store in miles words of warm fluffy things to cuddle under I think that’s a great way to have an epic nap.

Cozy house shoes are a must in the winter, especially if you don’t have carpet. And that blanket looks super cozy too.
Agreed!! I have a little bit of carpet but mostly hardwoods and I like my feet to stay nice and warm!!
