Conquering Fears at Fritz’s Adventure in Branson Missouri

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fritz’s Adventure. While I was compensated for this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Warning: this post is going to be a photo overload!! LOL!!

I have been off work for the past week and have spent my time getting out of the house and exploring! In the past week I have been to three different states, seen and experienced soooo much and not gotten much sleep. Yikes!

Yesterday I spent the day in Branson Missouri with my girl Rebekah!! I haven’t been to Branson in forever and it was nice to go explore a little bit! Most of it was exactly how I remembered it but there are a few new attractions that I checked out, one of those being Fritz’s Adventure!

Fritz’s Adventure is 80,000 square feet of adventures in one building! It contains a four-story ropes course, underground tunnels, a laser room, climbing walls, rappelling, a giant tree house, multi-story slides, an aerodium and so much more!!

Fritz’s opened November 2016 and has been super busy ever since! It’s perfect for new adventurers (me!!) and experience thrill seekers! Everything is hands on and everything is SAFE! When you walk the skywalk or rappel or wall climb you are strapped into a harness and have a helmet on where appropriate. There are also benches all around for the non-thrill seekers to relax on.

Look at this amazing plane that is suspended from the ceiling! You can climb in it and then crawl through that tunnel on the left to a huge slide!! I think the slides were my favorite part!!

For all of you Mission Impossible fans there is a laser room that you can try to complete without touching any of the lasers. It looked tough but all of the kids I saw do it rocked it!!

One of the first things I did was the Sky Walk!! If you know me then you know I am utterly terrified of heights!! But it looked like so much fun that I strapped in and did it! Well, I did the lowest level and only the ropes that I felt comfortable on but I did it!! The ropes course/Sky Walk is four stories high and has different walks you can complete on each level. One day I will go back and do more!!

I didn’t die!! I am so proud of myself for getting out there and doing it!! You have no idea the rush of both fear and adrenaline that surged through me as I took my first step on the rope but it was so worth it!!!

And then the other thing I did was the Aerodium Outdoor Flying Adventure!! Even though I am terrified of heights the thought of this didn’t scare me as bad as the ropes course…LOL!! After you sign up for a flight time you go to flights school!!

Basically this just means you watch a video about how the Aerodium works, learn safety techniques and hand signals and then you get sued up and go do it!!

The Aerodium is for beginning flyers (like me!!) and experienced flyers. You start out with an instructor who helps you into the wind and then gets you adjusted to the flow and then he/she helps you fly on your own and then will take you high if you want!! This was such an amazing experience and a core workout…I am sooo sore today but I am just going to use that as an excuse to get a massage later this week…LOL!!

Here is part of my flight…

Look how high we went!! It was AMAZING!!!

The Aerodium is only open for one more week (it closes for the season November 4th) so if this is something you have been thinking about doing then I say go!! I highly suggest it!! My only ti would be to bring a brush because even though my hair was pulled back and in a hair net and under a helmet it was a tangled up mess!! HA!!!

So if you around Branson and are looking for an adrenaline rush or just something fun to wear the kids out I highly suggest going to Fritz’s Adventure! It is so much fun!!!

Have you been to Fritz’s Adventure in Branson??

Glad you faced your fears. I think I could do this… maybe. I’m not a big fan of heights — eek. I know my kids would LOVE it though
