Take Me Out to the Ballgame…Texas Rangers Style!

This post contains affiliate links.

Hey hey!! Happy Monday!! I usually don’t mind Mondays (working night shift, all of my days run together…LOL!) but WHY is the Monday after vacation just so dang BLAH?! I got back from Dallas last night and have been in a brain fog ever since. Tonight I am going back to work and I have a ton fo stuff to do today so y’all pray for me ok?! HA! One of the highlights of my weekend away was going to a Texas Rangers game Friday night!

Before Friday I had never been to a professional baseball game. I toured Fenway once, have been to several Arkansas Travelers Games (a local minors team) and millions of high school and college games but never a professional game before and I can honestly tell you that even though the Rangers lost I had a blast!!

I went with Rebekah (duh) and we got seats in the Lexus section. I got the seat recommendations from a friend who has been several times and they were seriously great seats. We weren’t facing the sun so we could actually watch the game, our seats were bigger than normal seats and we had a waitress assigned to our section so we never had to leave our seats for food and drinks! It was awesome! We sat on the first base line so we got a good look at all the Rangers who were up to bat shaking their butts, I’m looking at you Joey Gallo…HA!!

Of course I got my all time fave game food, a Frito Chili Pie!!! I also got a Bud Light Lime (YUM!!) and found a Frosé about halfway through the game. They were out of short straws for the Frosés so I “drank” mine with a spoon. It was soooo good!!!

Since it was a Friday night there was a fireworks show after the game and we may or may not have sang our hearts out to every song, sorry dudes that sat next to us for badly serenading you and all of your snapchat followers, HA!!

I got several questions about my shirt and I actually got in on Etsy a few weeks ago. The seller makes several teams so check her out!! I LOVE these shorts, they are my fave rip shorts and my shoes are part of the New Balance X Kate Spade collection a few years ago. RIP Kate Spade. Overall it was comfy, showed my team spirit (HA) and I got several compliments on it. So WOOO me, LOL!!!

I will definitely go back if given the opportunity!! And like I said earlier, even though the Rangers lost I had a great time!!

Have you been to a professional baseball game??
What baseball team is your favorite??

Nothing beats a day at the park! I love the food, I love the atmosphere, and I love watching the boys of summer get out there and do their thing. We always have so much fun.

A Frito chili pie sounds delicious with a Frose! The only reason I go to ball games is the food, honestly. Haha!

Oh my gosh! I love Frito chili pie! I’m from Texas and totally forgot that is a thing there. I’ve lived in AZ since I was sixish so I’ve forgotten a lot. Looks like you had a blast!

How did I not know that frose was a thing?! Love, love, love the idea of it and I would so love to sip on that during a ball game – or any sort of sports game!

We go to the Rangers game pretty frequently. My husband prefers to site in the section that offers all you can eat food and drinks (except alcohol). He buys them on the day of the game cheap from seat geek or something like that. We live about 30 min from the stadium.

I dont go as often, the extreme heat bothers me and its a few too many stairs (back and hip hurts). My husband and two of my 3 kids went last week too.

It’s always fun to watch a professional baseball game. We’ve been to Atlanta a few times to watch our fave, Atlanta Braves play. Hope we get to see them play again soon at their new stadium.
