This week has been insane. I mean there’s no other way to really describe it. If you have ever sold a house then you probably know what I’m talking about it. But anyway, today is Friday…back to reality and back to work for me. Also it’s time for the Friday Five! At least some things in life are a constant…here we go!!
ONE. So last Friday I showed my home for the second and final time and got my first offer! I countered that offer and they countered back and then we finally came to an agreement and I sold my home!! Since then I have been sorting things, making Goodwill drops, packing things and even already got rid of a few big furniture items. My inspection is Saturday so fingers crossed that everything goes well there and then I think I just have a termite inspection (from my usual company) and then more packing! So far this whole process has been fairly simple but still super stressful, I can turn anything into a stressful situation, and I can’t wait to be done, moved and settled into my new space!!
TWO. I went to the pool yesterday and just floated. It was magical and much needed. I looked at apartments all day Wednesday, packed all Thursday morning and then I just needed a break. So I floated.
THREE. I have to say that I was pretty excited about Nordstrom sale coming up, says every blogger, until I got the actual sale catalog in the mail and then I was just disappointed. There is nothing that is just jumping out to me. I did see a cute Kendra Scott necklace? Hmmm…we will see.
FOUR. I got a new facial serum from Volition Beauty that I am pretty excited about. It’s their new Snow Mushroom Water Serum and it’s supposed be super hydrating and will help minimize pores. Lord above knows I need both! LOL! It’s also vegan, gluten-free, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free and noncomedogenic. I will have a full review coming to the blog soon. FIVE. I was going to to go the movies this week but chose to just stay home and find something to watch. Did you know that Once Upon a Star was on Amazon Prime??? OG Katherine Heigl right there y’all. And I, Tonya is on HULU. I freaking LOVE that movie!! And I watched Set it Up on Netflix, it’s one of their original movies and it’s so good!!!
So there you have it, this week’s Friday Five. Completely random and a little bit weird but that’a about all I have time for this week. Maybe next week I will be a little more productive around here! LOL!!

I went to the movies with my mom last weekend and saw BOOK CLUB. Pretty good movie. I liked it. Haven’t been to the movies in YEARS!! Haven’t been to the pool in forever either xD I’m more of a hermit than anything. I’ll leave the house if I have to. Otherwise, never gonna happen.

I envy you. I guess I need some time to just float and relax too. Last week at the office was so exhausting. Need to have some time to breathe. Never checked the catalog yet, glad I did not since there are no big deals.
Wow! That’s definitely good news and I hope everything goes according to your plan. It’s always such an exciting time when you go house hunting as well. That serum’s making me curious! I’d love to know more about it.
