Volition Beauty Launches on Sephora.com Today!!

Today is an exciting day in the land of beauty products!! Why you ask?? Because Volition Beauty products are now available on Sephora.com!! Three cheers to Volition!!

So what is Volition Beauty? Good question. Volition Beauty is revolutionizing the beauty industry by creating beauty products based on what you want in your products! Each product available from Volition Beauty was created by an influencer just like you and each product is free of harmful chemicals traditionally “bad for you” ingredients (sulfates, phthalates, parabens, nitrates, coal tar, formaldehyde, BHA and BTA).

So basically someone comes up with an idea, submits it to Volition online, a team reviews the idea to see if it will work (and fits with the Volition brand, is marketable and doesn’t copy any other product on the market) and if it is deemed doable then it is developed! After the product is developed it gets voted on to see if other people would purchase it. If it gets voted “in” then the product will become a permanent part of Volition Beauty and whoever had the idea for the product gets a percentage of the sales of that product. Also, as a bonus for whoever voted the product in, those people get a one-time special price for that product. If all of that doesn’t make you want to get involved then I don’t know what will!

The wonderful people at Volition Beauty sent me a few of their products to try to get ready for the big Sephora launch and I couldn’t be more excited!!! Check out my goodies…

First up let’s talk about this Turmeric Brightening Polish. I think I was most excited about this product because I have recently discovered all the wonderful benefits of turmeric and have been using it a lot in the kitchen. For those who don’t know turmeric is a fantastic anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It is typically thought of as an Indian spice and Indian women have been using it in their beauty products for thousands of years. This brightening polish is a scrub that can be used on you race or entire body and is safe for everyday use. In addition to turmeric it also contains Gram Flour, Sandalwood, Olive Oil and Haldi Root. This scrub exfoliates you skin, brightens it, helps with toning and hydrating, promotes overall skin radiance and so much more. I stuck mine in my shower and use it on my face daily!! It also smells divine!!

Next up lets talk about this Oceanene Defense Gel. If you have read this blog for any amount of time then you know I am obsessed with gels over creams on my face. I don’t like the heaviness of a cream based product (except at night) and this gel moisturizer is the perfect weight for the summer time! The Oceanene Defense Gel is made with a marine algae found on the Brittany shoreline that has some pretty amazing skin rejuvenating benefits. This particular algae aids collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis for intense hydration and smoother, younger looking skin. I mean, who does’t want that?? Plus, like the Turmeric Brightening Polish it smells amazing!!

And last, but certainly not least, let’s talk about the Helix Restorative Eye Gel. I have been all about eye treatments lately after finding the beginnings of crows feet starting to make their way onto my face! Yikes!! This powerful eye treatment can be used both AM and PM and works to improve hydration and depuffs skin for a smoother look. The secret ingredient is none other than escargot (snail) mucin that helps rapidly repair damage done to the snail’s body and helps repair damage done to our skin. It also helps with collagen synthesis and elastin, which helps to rehydrate the skin and create a “blurred” effect to both fine lines and wrinkles. Ummmm, I think I need a whole vat of this to swim in. K, thanks. And again, to smells amazing!!!
