Spring Clean Your Skin with PMD Beauty

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of the Primp Network & PMD Beauty. While I was compensated for this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Spring has officially sprung and I don’t know about you but I have put off my spring cleaning long enough!! My house spring cleaning that is, HA! As far as spring cleaning my beauty routine, I have been all over that lately!! I started by cleaning out my beauty closet…all makeup, skincare, haircare, etc that I hadn’t used in a year went in the trashcan. Then I started assessing my skin and seeing what areas I wanted to work on. One thing I have been lacking lately is exfoliation. I feel like I talk about exfoliation a lot on this blog but if I’m being honest with you, I know I don’t do it as often as I should!

Remember a couple of weeks ago I talked about getting my face dermaplaned (and my lashes lifted)?? Well I loved that experience so much and I’m going to keep it up but in between treatments I want to do something amazing for my skin myself. Enter into the picture PMD Beauty!

The amazing people at PMD Beauty were kind enough to send me a few devices to try and I have to admit that I have fallen completely in love with them! PMD Beauty sent me their Personal Microderm, Kiss and Clean devices. Since this post is all about skincare I won’t spend much time time talking about the PMC Kiss device, also because my lips are already really full! LOL! But what I can tell you is that the PMD Kiss will inches the look of fullness and volume and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the lips. It can also restore and revitalize natural lip color as well as create instant and long-lasting results with daily use. So basically if you ware wanting fuller lips overnight, then you should check out the PMD Kiss!

Now onto the skincare! First I am going to talk about the PMD Clean device, because if we are doing this in order f use then I would use this device before the PMD Microderm. What is the PMD Clean? Good question! The PMD Clean is a smart facial cleaning device. It’s similar to other facial brushes in that it gets your face clean but the similarities stop their. This bad boy uses SoniGlow™ Technology which gives the PMD Clean the power to vibrate over 7000 times a minute and removes the skin’s impurities by breaking down dirt and oil from within the pores. Sounds amazing right?? It really is!!

The PMD Clean is made of silicone and is super hygienic, odor-resistant, antibacterial, hypoallergenic and is waterproof (so you can use it in the shower if you are a multi-taker like me!!). It also has two sides, one to clean your face with and one to massage!! This is the cleaning head…

…see all of those bristles?? They feel so good on your face as it cleans!! When you use this side of the device you just get your face wet and apply a cleanser and then use this side of the PMD Clean to really work the cleanser in and get your face squeaky clean. This device comes with four different vibration modes (I guess that’s you would put it?? LOL) and mode 1 and 2 work best for this side of the device to get your face super clean. After you clean your face with this side of the device you are technically done and can continue your beauty routine OR you can flip it over and use this side…

…the anti-aging massage side!! This side of the PMD Clean works best in modes 3 and 4 and I like to use my favorite serums and oils with this side. The vibrating massage really works the product into your skin. This side also stimulates blood flow andcoldlagen production! You just can’t beat that, plus it feels amazing!

Next up is the PMD Microderm. Have you ever wished you do an at home microdermabrasion? Well here it is!! After your face is super clean (or so you think…) you cause the PMD Microderm to get all the junk off your face that you can’t even see. Gross, but true. This bad boy has spinning discs embedded with aluminum oxide crystals exfoliate away dead, dull cells from the surface of the skin. It uses suction that increases circulation and triggers the skin’s natural healing process which boosts collagen and elastin leaving skin firm, fresh and radiant, while at the same time removing the top layer of dead, dull skin cells. I’ve only been using mine for a couple of weeks (consistently) and I can already tell a difference in my skin!!

So it looks cool and sounds even cooler, but how does it work?? Firs you cleanse your face (hopefully with a PMD Clean device!), pick your disc (there are many different discs to choose from, I started with the white for the most sensitive skin because I had never used anything like this device before), choose your head (small head for face and big head for body), plug it in and turn it on!

Once the PMD Microderm is turned on you are ready to go! You can always practice on your arm or leg first before you try it on your face so you can get the feel of the device down. Once you are ready to do your face you just pull your skin tight and move the device quickly across the skin in an upward sweeping motion. Basically you just want to move it from the center of our face to the outside. It is recommended to only go over an area of the face one time, doing it multiple times can result in read marks on your skin and you don’t want that!!

Once you have finished vacuuming your face (just kidding, although that’s kind of what it feels like!) you can use your toner and moisturizer like normal. Don’t forget to wash the cap and filter after each use. Personally I have loved using this personal microdermabrasion device and I can’t wait to use it even more, I’m obsessed! LOL!

So that, ladies and gents, is how I have been spring cleaning my skin with PMD Beauty products!! If you have any questions about either of these products please feel free to drop it in the comments or email me! If you have thought about trying any of this products using this link (or any of the links in this post) will get you 25% off!!

Have you used any PMD Beauty products??
Have you ever tired an at home microdermabrasion device??

My skin could use a little microderm cleansing. Nice that this is bacteria resistant and easy to use.

I need this so bad! My skin could use all the help we can get. It is still dry from winter has a lot of dead skin on it and could just use a good deep clean.

I didn’t realize there was such a thing as at-home microdermabrasion. Now that is a product I’d totally invest in!

I’ve never had a facial so that facial massager sounds interesting to me. I’ve never had or considered dermabrasion of any kind, my Mom had it when she was a teen and said it hurt.

Might be a silly question…I have never used these type of skin cleaners before….but would they help with or maybe help reduce redness? That is my be issue. I am always on the hunt for something to help keep my skin smooth, wrinkle-free and help with my redness.
