If you have been reading this blog for any length of time then you know how passionate I am about skincare. I love trying new products and even though I have my ride-or-dies that I will always use I also love finding new things that work really well for my skin. One line of products that I have always wanted to try are the Rodan and Fields products. I have a bunch of friends that sell it and have raved about it for years but I was always a little gun shy to try them because let’s be real, they are expensive and I literally have a closet full of skincare products that companies send me that I feel like I need to try so I just never ordered any.
A few months ago a super sweet blog reader sent me some Rodan and Fields samples from the Redefine line and even though it took me a few weeks to try them (I was trying another brand for a blog post) once I did I was hooked!! I mentioned them in this blog post and then the amazing R+F PR team reached out to me and sent me the entire line plus the Lash Boost I had talked about wanting to try. Talk about a surprise mail day!!! I was floored y’all!!! So today I am going to share with you my Rodan and Fields Redefine Experience!
First things first let’s talk about the Rodan and Fields Redefine regimen. The Redefine Regimen includes peptides and Hyaluronic Acid as active ingredients and with regular use claims to reduce the visible signs of aging for noticeably firmer, smoother, flawless-looking skin. As a woman firmly in her mid-30’s (35!!!) I am all about reducing any visible signs of aging and preventing what is sure to come in the future. Because in the words of Truvy from Steel Magnolias…
“Time marches on and sooner or later you realize it’s marching across your face.”
Never was there a truer word spoken. Amen Truvy and now I need to rewatch Steel Magnolias!!

…and now you see why I was floored, right? I seriously almost died when I opened that box. This is the entire Redefine regimen plus the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste and Lash Boost. All full size products and they honestly didn’t ask for anything in return. So dang sweet!! But of course, now that I have used these amazing products I just had to blog about them!!
Hands down my favorite product out of all of the products R+F sent me is the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste. If you know how I feel about exfoliation then you can understand my excitement about this product. You use this paste on dry skin a couple of times a week and nothing has made my skin feel smoother!! It’s not harsh at all and not super fine gritty…it’s more of a course grit and has almost a coconut oil like base so that your skin feels almost oily when using it. I think that’s why I like it so much, it’s super exfoliating but doesn’t dry your skin out at all!!
After you have properly exfoliated, rinsed and dried your face you are ready for the Daily Cleaning Mask. For this step you just apply a thin coat to your face, let it dry and then wipe it off. It smells AMAZING!!
After you are finished cleansing you use toner and then if it’s day time you slather on the Triple Defense Treatment SPF 30 and call it a day. However if it’s night time you use the Multifunction Eye Cream around your eyes (duh), the Intensive Renewing Serum all over your face and then follow it with the Overnight Restorative Cream. I absolutely love the way these products feel on my face. It doesn’t ever feel heavy or weighed down and I can definitely tell a big difference in my skin after using it for about 6 weeks straight. …see how smooth my skin is?? And it’s not is red! And is it just me or do the dark circles and fine lines around my eyes look better?? One thing I know for sure is that my brows look better!! This is completely random but I have been using the Lash Boost on both my lashes and brows before bed each night and I can tell the biggest difference in my brows! They aren’t patchy and I don’t have to fill them in nearly as much!! Lash Boost for the WIN!!
I haven’t talked about the Lip Renewing Serum yet but I usually use about half of an ampule before bed each night and sometimes throughout the day if my lips are feeling super chapped. It definitely helps and I can’t wait to see how it does on sunburned kips during these hot summer months we have coming up!! I always burn my lips during the summer do you??
PS – I am kind of in love with the little ampules. I think it’s a great way to package a product- it’s super sanitary, convenient to travel with and I just have a thing for pre-measured products. HA!
So will I buy these products in the future? Absolutely! Will I recommend them to my friends?? Absolutely!

My sister in law sells Rodan and Fields and she has been trying to get me to try their products for YEARS. She always tells me how well they work, but I didn’t believe her because I thought she was just trying to get a sale LOL. Glad to know she was telling me the truth :)

You really can see the difference between the photos. I have awful lashes, I’m intrigued by the Lash Boost, also the Pore Minimizing Toner.

These products did make a difference and you Iook rejuvenated. I never do such extensive work but i love the hyaluronic acid and peptides which are so good for your skin.
I have a few friends that swear by these brands. I’ve never experienced it in order to justify the costs associated with it. Just not for me!
I like that their defense treatment has SPF in it. So important for me to find products that do have this sort of protection because my skin is so sensitive!
Expensive skincare must mean really effective and great. Many women would want to have flawless skin that doesn’t look aged. Instead of going through surgical procedures that would more likely cost a lot, this is a rather fine choice.
One of the teachers in my children schools is a distributor to Rodan & Fields. I asked her about her skin routines because she has a very fair skin and she told me about R&F.
