I think I mentioned last week in my post about the best texturizing spray for fine hair that I love to talk about hair!! Seriously though, I could talk about it all day ‘err day. So you better bet that when my empties stash was overflowing with empty hair products I was more than happy to take some pics so I could share them with you!! I purchased all of these products myself so there’s that.
And while we are on the subject of hair I also wanted to show you my new summer ‘do today!! I got my hair done last week and I am kind of obsessed with it. Back in January I got some super subtle caramel balayage and while I have loved it it’s summer time and I was ready to kick it up a notch! Luckily my stylist was on the same page and here’s what I got!!
She also darkened my base color so that it really pops! I haven’t had my hair this light in at least 10 years so I was a little bit scared of it but now I LOVE it!! The scary part?? Even my Dad said he loved it and he is not one to compliment hair. HA!
So anyway, on to what this post was supposed to be about, my hair empties!! There aren’t actually that many of them but they are all large cans/bottles so they made my empties box look like it was overflowing…HA!
First up, let’s talk shampoo and conditioner. I have mentioned in previous posts that I am a HUGE fan of Herbal Essence shampoos and conditioners. I remember when they were all the rage in high school and then I feel like the line was discontinued and then when I was in respiratory therapy school the new lines came out and I have been hooked ever since. That’s about 15 years of brand loyalty high there y’all. HA! But really, I have used several different shampoos and conditioners from the lines but my ride-or-doe will always be the Body Envy shampoo and the Color Me Happy Conditioner. And yes, I use the small bottle of shampoo in about the same amount of time as a large conditioner. What can I say? I LOVE conditioner!
Next up let’s talk about hairspray. In case you forgot, I’m from the south and hairspray is a STAPLE if you want your hair to stay in place. Both of these actually have a pretty flexible hold and I love to use them on my waves/curls. They hold enough for the wave to hold it’s shape but I can still run my hands through my hair! WIN. The Dove has a little more hold than the Living Proof but I love both equally!
And finally I have an empty can of Color WOW Style on Steroids (texturizing spray). Now I didn’t include it in my “best texturizing sprays for fine hair” because even though it’s really good it may be a little harsh for fine hair. It really gives your hair some amped up texture though so if you love a hardcore ‘do then you will LOVE this!!
That’s all I have for y’all today, my FAVE shampoo and conditioner, two great hairsprays and a hardcore texturizing spray. And, of course, my new summer ‘do!! Woohoo!!
What are your ride-or-die hair products??
