Hey hey Friday!! I am so excited to see you!! Now that monsoon season is over, I hope, I am so ready for SPRING!!! It was 60* yesterday in Arkansas therefore I am ready to go (online) shopping and share all of my recent spring purchases with you!! Since today Friday you know what that means…Friday Five with a theme, what I’m buying for spring!! Finally, a theme!!!
Here we go…
ONE. Floral everything. Just like Miranda said in The Devil Wears Prada “Florals for Spring. Groundbreaking.” I know, I know. But hear me out. I haven’t really jumped on the floral bandwagon yet and I found a couple of kimonos and a shirt at Maurice’s that I am dying over and may or may not have ordered them last night. HA! Plus they are all from Maurice’s so they are super affordable!! YAS!!

TWO. Old Navy Rockstar Jeans. Confession – I love Old Navy but I haven’t shopped their jeans in years. Right before I went to Seattle I needed a new pair of jeans and was in Old Navy looking for something else and decided to try on a few pair and lo and behold I have found my new go-to jeans!! From what I remembered about Old Navy jeans they never fit me right and they always felt cheaply made. Well not these jeans! I am now a huge fan of and the proud owner of not one but THREE pair of Old Navy Rockstar Jeans!! They have the perfect amount of stretch and come in three different rises (low, mid and high). These jeans didn’t get loose thought the day and came in many different colors. I grabbed a rip pair and two normal pair. I am obsessed y’all. Plus, Old Navy has a coupon for 20% off on the website right now!!

THREE. Birks. I did something I thought I would never do. I purchased a pair of Birkenstocks!! I always thought they looked kind of butch but I tried them on at Nordstrom Rack when I was in Memphis a few weekends ago and fell in love with them so a pair came home with me!! They are soooo freaking comfy and will definitely get a lot of used this spring and summer!! YAS QUEEN!!!
FOUR. New workout leggings. I hopped back on the working out train a few weeks ago and I don’t know about you but the one thing that actually makes me want to work ou tis cute new workout clothes!! I have plenty of workout tanks and tees but I have been needing some new workout leggings! I am a huge fan of capri length leggings and Lane Bryant had a ton that were on sale so I grabbed a few pair! Online they have everything from a size 10/12 to a size 26/28! Check them out for yourself!!

FIVE. A good bra. I have always had big boobs (even after I had a breast reduction) so finding a good supportive bra has always been a priority for me. I actually discovered this bra last year and let me tell you something, if you have big boobs then it is a game changer!! I now own it in several colors and it always the one I reach for first. I found out a long time ago that if you have big boobs then Lane Bryant is the place to shop for bras. They only carry a size 36C and up so even if you can’t wear their clothes you should definitely get your bras from here. They come in all sorts of fun colors and have the best fit! This particular bra is my absolute fave because of two things. Number one is that the strap adjusters are in the from top the bra so you can adjust it yourself. I thought that was weird at first but now it’s my fave feature! My other fave thing about this bra is that it is a “back smoother” and the back part comes up higher than a normal bra strap so you don’t have any rolls hanging over the top of your bra strap. I’m telling you….GAME CHANGER. Plus it comes in a size 36C – 46DDD. Grab a few today!!

I haven’t bought a ton of spring things yet but my monthly StitchFix is on the way and I asked for some spring pieces. Fingers crossed. I’m finding it so hard to jump on the floral train. Maybe I haven’t found the right floral, but everything I see looks like something my grandmother wore. I have big boobs and I need to check out that bra. I order mine online and pay way too much for them. Happy weekend!
Time for me to do some shopping for Spring. New pair of birks is a must, loving the florals that are in the stores. Who doesn’t need a new pair of comfortable jeans.
These are some fabulous picks! I basically wear jeans and t-shirts all year long. I do switch to sweaters when it’s cold! Also, I can’t do the jeans with the rips. They just look messy to me.

I haven’t bought anything for spring, and didn’t buy anything for winter either. It’s just not in the budget. When money permits I do need new bras.
Spring clothing! I miss that so much, the light textures and all the beautiful colors. The floral kimonos are such a lovely trend. Birkenstocks definitely are a part of Spring! They’re ultra comfy!

Now that I am older, I prefer workout leggings to wear no mater what I do. They are so comfortable that I don’t really miss the stiffness of jeans! Really cool collection you plan to buy!

I also love florals for spring. I know it’s not revolutionary but I still love the fresh look! I found some floral blouses the other day that were gorgeous!
I have a pair of shoes like that and they are my favorite. I could live in those things.

I’m really liking the jeans and leggings! I definitely have to get some more comfy pants for spring. The bras looked super comfortable too!
I am so excited for warmer weather and fresh produce! On top of that, I love dressing up for Spring as well. These are all lovely choices! Kimonos are really pretty!

I love Kimonos! I have so many. They are perfect for adding color and texture without adding warmth.
I have been leaning more towards florals this year which is a big change for me. I’d love some of these for my spring wardrobe. They all look comfy and that’s important.
I love and swear by the Old Navy Jeans! They are so comfortable and fit me perfectly! Another pair that I love is the LB Super Skinny Stretch from Lane Bryant! They are so comfortable and don’t stretch out. Checking out the bras you suggested because I’m in need of some new ones ASAP!
