If you remember, last month I received my very first Stitch Fix!! And before you just think I am super late to the game, I had to wait for Stitch Fix to start a Plus Size Fix and I signed up for a box as soon as saw it being advertised!! So anyway, here we are and I am about to show you everything I got and tell what I kept/sent back in my second Stitch Fix!! Here’s a hint – it was a fabulous Fix!!!
The very first thing I saw when I opened my box was a bag containing the cutest pair of ballet flats I have ever seen in my entire life!! Y’all. I legit squealed when I saw the hot pink peaking out of the bag!! If you know me then you know how obsessed I am with hot pink shoes, hence the hot pink loafers I featured in this post, and my stylist seriously knocked it out of the park with this pair of Lucky’s…
One thing I my stylist wrote to me in her note this month was that she noticed from my Pinterest board that I loved a “pop” of color and thought I would just love these shoes and she was totally right! Also, how have I never noticed that I just love a little pop of color before?? Isn’t it funny that sometimes it takes someone else noticing something about you for you to see it yourself?? LOL!! Obviously these were a keeper.
Now on to the clothes!!
If you remember, last month I got a light colored pair of skinny jeans and I told my stylist that I was more into darker jeans and so she hooked me up with a pair of perfectly fitted to me dark wash skinny jeans. These skinny jeans are unique in that they don’t have a button or zipper but they do have both front and back pockets. At first I thought the whole no button or zipper thing was really weird but once I tried them on I became obsessed with them because they are super smooth under any shirt!!
I also love the length of the jeans and the fact that they aren’t made out of super heavy material so they will be perfect for the summer months too!! Obviously the jeans were a noter keep for me!! This black lace top was another Stitch Fix item I received this month and although I love the length, material and style of this top the sleeves are just throwing me off a little. I absolutely love the lace detail but the cap sleeves just aren’t flattering on me. Ugh. I was so sad about this top!! Unfortunately it went back.
Another top I received is this super cute mint flowy tank. I love the color but it was actually a little big on me and I just couldn’t see myself wearing it. It also went back.
The last item I received in this Fix is this floral kimono. My stylist noticed that I was a little kimono obsessed on my Pinterest board and thought I would love this one as well. While the style was completely me and I love the cut, the colors were more fall and I don’t really need any fall like clothing right now. It also went back…but those jeans and shoes?? BOOM!! On point!!
One thing I am absolutely loving about Stitch Fix is that I don’t have to leave my house at all to go shopping. I can also request certain items if I know I am looking for something. For example, I know that I am going to the beach at the beginning of June so for my May Fix I requested some fun colored shorts!! I can’t wait to see what my stylist finds for me!!
Do you Stitch Fix??
