Happy Friday!! If you are new to these parts then you should know that I reserve Fridays to talk about five random things. Actually the lists aren’t always random but here lately they have been and today is no exception. So here we go with today’s random five things…
ONE. I am leaving town tomorrow to go to Ohio to see my grandparents! I am soooo excited!! I usually go see them during the summer but my grandfather has been sick and in the hospital so I am changing things up and going to see them now. And I may or may not be driving halfway and staying with my friend Jenn in Nashville tomorrow!! This trip is going to be so much fun!!!
TWO. I went to a blogger dinner the other night at Tacos4Life in Little Rock and had a blast!! I have been to Tacos4Life once, when I was in Fayetteville last September, and have been craving it ever since. I am solo glad central Arkansas finally got one and I will be a regular there I just know it!!
THREE. Herbal Essences came out with a new line of hair products and I am obsessed!! This reminds me of when they came out with their current line about 10 years ago and my bestie Libby and I stalked Target everyday until we got our hands on some. I have used the same Herbal Essences volumizing shampoo and color safe conditioner since that day so to stay that I am excited about this new release is an understatement. This new shampoo and conditioner smells amazing and makes my hair smell like heaven! Get your hands on some now!!
FOUR. Some days are completely awesome and I come home from work singing show tunes and with a crazy grin on my face. Other days I come home and eat cookie dough in the bathtub. The other night was one of those nights. Ughhhhh. On the plus side Papa Murphy’s has amazing chocolate chip cookie dough.
FIVE. Earlier this week I was in Hot Springs for the afternoon and just had to stop by Fat Bottomed Girls. If you don’t know Fat Bottomed Girls is an amazing little cupcake shop located on Bath House Row in downtown Hot Springs. I am soooo glad I stopped in because they just happened to have my absolute favorite cupcake, the Ooey Gooey Buttercake Caupcake!! YUM!!
What has been up in your life lately??
The cupcakes, the cookie dough, the new Herbal Essences – I want them all! I can almost smell that shampoo and conditioner. Can’t wait to get my hands on them.
I’ve heard so many good things about that Herbal Essences line! I’ll definitely have to go and check it out because I really like Herbal Essences (my hair reacts very well to it!).
Tacos are life. Tacos give life. I can’t go a week without eating tacos! I love to try every restaurant related to tacos. Can you tell my week have been stressful? I’ve been eating not enough tacos.
Whats wrong with eating cookie dough in the bathtub. Coming home singing is always the best. Sounds like you had a wonderful week.

I hope you have fun on your trip to see your Grandparents. I know that I miss mine terribly and like you usually only get to see them in the Summer. Oh and cookie dough in the tub? Yes please!
I had no idea about the Herbal Essence! I can’t wait to go to target and pick some up for myself. I love expirementing with new shampoos!
That cookie dough looks so good. I didn’t know herbal essences had come out wi new products. I need to hunt those down.
All of the Herbal Essences products that I have smelled did smell great. I bet that coconut milk scent is terrific.

You do know how to relax! I’ve never tried having cookie dough in the bath tub. I mean, I’ve never tried eating in the bath tub. That is something I have to try! The Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner is an interesting find! The scents would be so nice!

That’s awesome that you’ll be able to go see your grandparents. It’s tough when they aren’t doing well and you aren’t close enough to hug them.
How exciting that you get to visit your grandparents! I feel like Herbal Essences was out of the game for a while, but that is great that they are back. I loved their shampoo and conditioner — it smells amazing. I will have to go check that line out! Also, I love the name of that cupcake shop!
