Friday Five No. 16 + German Chocolate Pie {recipe}

This post contains affiliate links.

It’s finally Friday and you know what that means!! It’s time for the Friday Five!! If you are new to these parts then you should know that I reserve Fridays to talk about five random things. Actually the lists aren’t always random but here lately they have been and today is no exception. So here we go with today’s random five things…

ONE. I had a couple of super fun sponsored posts this week but perhaps my favorite one was this collaboration with Lane Bryant. I have been a Lane Bryant fan for years. They seriously have the cutest clothing and the best bras for anyone a C cup or larger. They also have amazing accessories for anyone and this scarf is maybe my favorite thing I have ever gotten from Lane Bryant. It reminds me of those arm woven scarfs and I am obsessed with this perfect pink color and how soft and warm it is!! Sadly, I can’t find it online anymore but here is a link to all of their other scarves still in stock!

TWO. Aveda sent me a box full of amazing winter skin goodies!! I love the scent of these products and can’t wait to incorporate them into my routine! My skin gets so dry during the winter months and I just know these will be lifesavers for me!!

THREE. I grabbed this Tarte Swamp Queen Eye and Cheek Palette during Tarte’s Black Friday sale and I can’t wait to try it out!! I have followed Bunny/Grav3yard Girl for years on Youtube and this palette sold out before I could get my hands on it this summer. I am so glad it was rereleased!!

FOUR. Y’all. I think I may have a little dog model on my hands…HAHAHA!! The sweet people at Boohoo sent my Sophie pup this adorable sweater and when I asked her to sit so I could take her pic this is hat I got. She totally posed!! I about died. It was too funny. So, dog model anyone? And thank you Boohoo for her sweet sweater, I think hers is sold out but here is a link for more!!

And

FIVE. I can’t believe I never got around to doing a full post about this yummy pie!! I also didn’t get a picture of a piece after it had been cut, blogger FAIL!! LOL!! If you love German Chocolate then you should definitely try this pie, it may seem heavy but it’s actually not super sweet. (I don’t like anything to be super sweet, ugh) Full recipe is below!

    You have the cutest fur baby model there is. Looking good in that sweater. That German pie looks so good right now, want a piece. Loving the big chunky scarves especially color and how warm it would be.

    First of all, that dog is soooo cute! I love the winter skin products, I need it for all of the cold weather and heat in the home being on. My skin gets so dry this time of year.
