Once again, it’s Friday and you know what that means!! It’s time for the Friday Five. If you are new to these parts then you should know that I reserve Fridays to talk about five random things. Actually the lists aren’t always random but here lately they have been and today is no exception. So here we go with today’s random five things…
ONE. My hands have been sooooo dry lately!! What is up with that?? I thought it was too early for super dry skin but not around these parts apparently. The only thing saving my poor skin is this Gold Bond Eczema Relief Lotion. It actually smells pretty good too! So win/win!
TWO. Speaking of super dry skin let’s talk feet. I have actually kept my feet in pretty good shape this winter so far with my PediSand but my real secret are these sweet socks I got for free from Kilimanjaro Health & Beauty! They sent me the Ultra-Soft Moisturizing Socks by Kilimanjaro to try and I use them a couple nights a week and they have seriously made a huge difference in how feet look and feel. They are perfect for lounging around the house in and contain TPR Gel, mineral oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado, canola and grape seed oil.
Confession- I even took them to my sister’s house earlier this week and wore them while watching Harry Potter sitting in front of her Christmas Tree!!
THREE. I treated myself to a Kindle Fire HD tablet during Amazon’s Black Friday sale and I have to say that I am really enjoying it! I am a self-proclaimed “Apple ONLY” girl but I got a iPad a few years ago and honestly never used it so I sold it and ever since then have wanted another so I could read and watch Netflix on. Well instead of dropping all of my hard earned money on another iPad that I won’t use I grabbed this bad boy. I use it strictly for reading and watching TV and I love it! It’s the perfect size to read on and to stick in a bag versus always carrying my laptop around. I am definitely loving it so far.
FOUR. I recently discovered LORAC lip glosses. I grabbed a couple during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty sale back in September and have honestly just now started using them. I love that they aren’t sticky and they smell really good. Plus they are super pigmented and actually moisturize my lips. I’m obsessed now. HA!
FIVE. Not that I feel like I have to explain anything on this blog but I did take a week long hiatus in order to take care of my niece after my sister had surgery this past week. I’m not going to lie, it felt really good to be disconnected from everything for a week. But then I got back the land of WIFI and Starbucks and an inbox full of amazing opportunities and I got all excited about blogging again. HA! In case you were wondering yes, my sister is ok and back home and I had a blast taking care of my niece and seeing all of my family!!
I hope you had a fabulous week and will have an even better weekend!! Stay safe!!
What are your weekend plans??
I have to work…UGH! LOL!

I need to grab some of that lotion and those socks! My hands and feet have been extremely dry this past week. I love my Kindle Fire and for reading on the beach, you can’t beat the Kindle Paperwhite. It’s my favorite when I’m traveling. Happy weekend!

The socks looks really awesome and the hand lotion too. The hand lotion sounds like something my son could use. He have eczema on his hands and that sounds like a great product to help him. Will have to look it up if I could find it here. Oh, the Lorac is so pretty too!

With the Chicago winters being so awful, I definitely need to look into that lotion and those socks. It might be the only way I can comfortable survive the dry air this winter!
