#DareToMask with The Body Shop

This post contains affiliate links.

Lately my friends and I have been all about face masks. I don’t know about you but there is absolutely nothing better than soaking in a hot bathtub with a face mask on after a long day. We send each other snaps of our masks and use #MaskOfTheNight as our hashtag. We all have different skin types but one thing we can all agree on is that The Body Shop has the very best face masks!!

The Body Shop sent me all five of their new masks to try out and today I wanted to tell you about them. For starters these new masks are full of super foods that are rich in health and beauty benefits. They are all vegetarian and three are even vegan!

expertfacialmasks

Let’s start with the first mask I tried, the Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask. This mask smells amazing smoothes and polishes your skin so that it is soft and supple. This mask also helps to minimize the appearance of pores, reduce skin imperfections, and removes unevenness and dullness. This was the perfect first mask for me to try because my skin was feeling pretty blah but this revitalized my skin and really brought it back to life.

The next mask I tried was the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask. After getting all exfoliated one night the next I needed to plump! This mask is a clear gel that contains bits of rose petals and makes me smell like the Duchess of Cambridge. Ever since I read somewhere that she uses rose oil on her skin I have been trying rose products with my fingers crossed that I will look like her one day…HA!

But anyway, this mask provides comfort with its aloe vera calming properties, replenishes the skin’s water reserves, while the petals provide the gentlest exfoliation, and reveals a fresh-scented, dewy glow. So basically if you want a gentle, soothing mask then this is the mask for you! Plus, it’s VEGAN!

The next mask I tried was the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. My friend Rebekah actually tried this one before me and raved about it so I knew it had to be next, HA! My first thoughts on this mask are that it is super tingly on my skin, but in a good way!

This mask contains Bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan foothills and works to deeply cleanse and purify your skin while working to clean clogged pores and release impurities and toxins. It also helps to reveal a healthy-looking, youthful glow all while smelling ahhhh-mazing!!! This one is definitely one of my favorites of these five masks. Plus it’s VEGAN!

After all of this deep cleaning and what not I knew I needed to moisturize so I tried the Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask next. This mask is super indulgent and is honey-textured which soothes and hydrates your skin. It also contains Marula Oil and Olive Oil, two of my favorite oils! This mask works to retain moisture, improve skin’s elasticity and prevent dryness as well as replenishing, restoring and comforting the skin. If you need some intense hydration then this is the mask for you!

Last, but not least I tried the Amazonian Acai Energizing Radiance Mask. First of all this mask smells amazing, I know I have said that about a lot of them but they really do smell that good. And smells are very important to me…HA! Back to the mask, this exfoliating mask invigorates skin that needs a fast recharge from signs of tiredness and stress, and I have been super stressed lately. Ugh. It is also rich in antioxidants and vitamins and helps to fight the appearance of fatigue and boost the immune system. Basically this just an all around great mask. Plus, it’s VEGAN!!

You can use these masks separately or, if you are having multiple skin concerns then you can multi-masks and use two at the same time! Just pick your masks, mix them up, and slather them on! This was you can achieve maximum benefits in minimum time!!

So no matter what your skin concerns are, you should check out The Body Shop‘s new line of masks!!

Thank you The Body Shop for all of these fantastic masks!! #DareToMask #MultiMasking #TheBodyShop

I don’t think I’ve done a mask since I was a teen. I used to basically live in the body shop back then too. I kind of forgot about it, and need to head over and check it out. These look wonderful. My skin could sure use a mask or two!
